stutter due to mods?

so my gf has installed many mods as well as i have. her computer seems to not be handling the mods quite as well and we have the same mods mostly. im considering upgrading her CPU to help this but wondering if anyone has any tips to try before doing so. 

 

Her current system:

ryzen 5 2600

gtx 1080

16gb ram

That system should be way overpowered for Sims 4 and I doubt any upgrades would help.

 

Running too many heavy Script Mods can cause lag and stuttering might be caused by graphics card settings/drivers.

 

Check for duplicate files by opening your WickedWhimsInfoLog.log and scroll down past all the Mods/CC to find the entry: 'Possible Duplicates' and make sure it's 0.

Make sure you don't have any compressed files left in your Mods folder like .zip, etc.

SSD certainly wouldn't hurt if she doesn't already have one, but otherwise refer to Scorpio's message - this PC should be way more than alright at handling the game,
