epiphonelp123 Posted April 26, 2022 Posted April 26, 2022 so my gf has installed many mods as well as i have. her computer seems to not be handling the mods quite as well and we have the same mods mostly. im considering upgrading her CPU to help this but wondering if anyone has any tips to try before doing so. Her current system: ryzen 5 2600 gtx 1080 16gb ram

Running too many heavy Script Mods can cause lag and stuttering might be caused by graphics card settings/drivers. Check for duplicate files by opening your WickedWhimsInfoLog.log and scroll down past all the Mods/CC to find the entry: 'Possible Duplicates' and make sure it's 0. Make sure you don't have any compressed files left in your Mods folder like .zip, etc.
Husk Posted April 27, 2022 Posted April 27, 2022 SSD certainly wouldn't hurt if she doesn't already have one, but otherwise refer to Scorpio's message - this PC should be way more than alright at handling the game,
