trouble starting new game

hey guys i ended up screwing up my game trying to add new mods and now its all screwed up guess the only way is to start from scractch can anyone tell me how to star a fresh game with no mods so i can start adding them one at a time again but not sure how to go about it if i have to gelete all mods or what i ask because i cant even get to new game option before it crashes again any advice would be awesome thanks

This might change based on the mod manager you're using, but as a general rule you would need to

1. If your mod manager has an option to remove all mods use it. If you want to reinstall to get a new/different mod manager you could also remove yours completely.
2. Steam>Library> right click on Skyrim>Manage>Browse local files. Keep that folder open, from the same Steam>Library> right click on Skyrim>Manage>Uninstall. Any remaining files in the folder you opened before should be manually removed.
3. Your saves and some config files are still in your Documents\My Games\Skyrim, you should delete that entire folder if you really want to start fresh.
4. Now you can reinstall Skyrim. The copy Steam downloads and installs should be fresh. When you start using your old (or a different) mod manager you should start with no mods installed, if you see mod files somewhere, you missed removing things from steps 1-2.
