One of the CC's in the Accessories folder in the torrent file is causing the default ear buds to not function and throw up a last exception when you try to use  them to listen to music, I'm sure it's one that came specifically with the torrent because i addended all the files with a MW to keep them separate from the rest of my CC, trying to narrow it down.

 

EDIT.

Found the culprit, WMS_Headphones_Adult_WHITE.package

FURTHER EDIT.

Found another broken one in the Build Objects Folder WMS_Headphones_MERGED.package

I tested this myself, and you are correct on this.  Good find, will be resolved on the next update.

it takes a me few seconds for the pie menu to open on the computer. Click on it and give it some time. 

 

 

Edit: Just learned that the mods causing this are Sugar Baby and AEP mods. which will not be featured in future updates until further notice.

Sorry for the false alarm, narrowed it down to the "blogging hobby" mod from adeepindigo. I probably accidently downloaded it when looking for the Entertainer Career Overhaul from the same author in the career section, since the link for it in the thread is broken.

Hi every body,I add mod Mrrakkon's World Redux with my old sim mod  27+43~70GB ,My PC: I3 8100,gtx 1060 3gb,16Gb my Pc and now my computer takes a long time to load when entering the game or switching worlds about 45m more than usual, has anyone used this mod with so many Gb or more, can you give me advice, is it because my computer is too weak to Run or the amount of mods is too limited for the game to handle? 

 

Memory 66% and no grow

I'm having the same problem as you, didn't have to make the file too big because I'm currently playing about 150 CC sims and didn't experience any lag when switching worlds or slow response to interactive menus, when I merged the mrrakkon's World Redux file more 28gb causes the phenomenon to take a long time to enter the game, I tried to remove the old file, about 42gb, but the same situation still occurs, so my guess is that it is not due to the number of sims or the CC file. Maybe a mod conflict caused this situation, even when I'm alone on my own plot, the delay of the interactive menu works often.  I have 50Gb mod file CC befor

No idea. Took a small break due to non-Sims Related stress and I have a backlog of stuff to work through. I can promise that the save has changed significantly in its content with very few households being untouched.

Your computer may be too old to handle so many mods, or you could also have a lot of duplicate files and conflicts in your game, causing it to take so long to load.

 

 

I use this mod: https://modthesims.info/d/647653/sims-mod-assistant.html

I scan my sims folder and it finds duplicate CC files. You might also need: https://sims4studio.com/thread/1523/downloading-sims-4-studio

 

 

Mod assistant will find any possible dupes or issues, sims 4 studio will let you open a CC file and see what it is for yourself. Sometimes mod assistant says two mods are the same, but when I open them in studio, they turn out to be different, just have similar names and stuff. There's even an icon you can click inside of Mod Assistant to open the file in Studio.

 

Keep in mind, it's going to take you a LOOOONG time to clear up any issues. First time I did it took me a few hours.

 

Edit: I also do a check every time I download updates to this save file. I don't just copy and paste all mods. I take my time and clear off any dupes.

So just an update. Due to several reasons you'll probably see some inconsistency in sims presentation. Guest Contributors have assured me that it's no big but I thought I'd explain for you weirdos who care about the lore*.

I do my best to incorporate the stories of everyone's sims but there are a few conflicting things that sadly can't be amended.

 

The primary one being that EA doesn't give their worlds enough lots for us to have everyone in the locations that should be.

 

Another is that a lot of the guest contributors share sims and go in different directions with their stories. 

 

The third and last reason is that I make changes to accommodate mod usage and to make things more playable on your end.

 

I'll use Santana's sims as examples since I've had to make the most concessions with his.
(He's expressed that he doesn't mind the changes as he has his own "canon")

 

Fiona is still a hooker in the save. In Santana's lore, she's past that and is getting into porn. As is common with a lot of the sims in the save, such as MrRakkon's Jozie, I roll back on some character history to permit you guys more freedom of choice. Since this is The Sims. The simulation game.

This is the same reasoning for Dixie not having ended her engagement with Wyatt in the save and why Paul Rocca, whose name remains Paolo Rocca in the save, still lives with Partihaus.

 

Another huge difference from what I've seen in several stories is that the save treats Windenburg as if it were in Germany. Changing a bunch of nationalities to some degree. This is because of the language mod we use and because going to Germany for Euro-Dance raves is a common vacation choice.

 

Big question some may have. "How do characters get between America and Germany so fast and so often?"

 

Don't worry about it. A less immersion breaking response is that several characters are rich and can afford to travel quite often. Lots with the "International" trait are meant to be tourist destinations.

 

For now those are my explanations. I'll update this post if more questions pop up. It will be linked in the front post's FAQ.

Dunno how much more work it'll cause, but I think you're just going to have to start pruning superfluous sims.

 

For example, The Pancake family. You can offer them as an extra download if you want, since they're kind of the iconic sims 4 couple, but in the current save we have access to, you've got several couples who basically fill that same role to various degrees. For example, the Acosta family with Lester Sr. in Newcrest. And the Acosta's have way more connections to other sims than the Pancakes do.

 

Then there are the sim community stories sims that you've added. Removing those would open up more lots. While I do appreciate their addition, I think it's better to just let them be optional downloads for people. Just link the site with the stories and downloads and let people pick and choose for themselves if they want them.

 

Maybe I'm wrong, but I think trimming the fat would be best in the long run for both your sanity and the amount of work needed to get the save working. Then again, I have no idea what it's like behind the scenes, so I could be 1000% wrong.
