Thank you for the answer. I already figured out the NPC's but I couldn't find any household named ''Townies'' that's why it's confusing for me. So I can also evict a household and invite them as roommates, right? Also when I have move into an household and start the game it stuck infinite loading screen. Tried at Vanilla save and game works perfectly fine. (I am not playing the Lovestruck version) Edited August 14, 2024 by Déshonorée

vinceguldo Posted August 18, 2024 Posted August 18, 2024 Nobody asked for it but I want to share my experience: I decided create my own save instead of waiting for another rebuild. 1- I decided to cut a little on the mod folder size, so as someone suggested I deleted almost all Sonya hair, for a total of 3 GB, I decided to cut almost entirely all the object build and override folders, 'cause in the beginning I prefer to focus on sims, later I'm gonna add objects as I see fit. I tried to cut on the script mods, keeping only what I felt fundamental, so, apart from the obvious I kept all basemental, the traits, some careers (unsure if they are scripts), language barrier and home regions, a couple of littlemssams. 2- I decided which sims to keep in the save, so obviously all of mrrakkon's, pornstars I actually never played, and many of them are not really tied to anything, but they're so hot, so they stayed.. all of santana's since they all have such rich backstories, Jbilant which I never played but look so good and also have nice backgrounds.. but also ghost, they kinda have a different aesthethic than the rest, but they're all so well interconnected that I didn't want to waste that.. socialowl has nice sims but I think their aesthetic is too different, so I skipped them, Tibo's also goes in a different direction so I kept them separeted for the time being.. so in the end a huge cut from the 700+ sims of the save but still a very high number.. 3- I spent like 10 hours saving household and Lots, and regrouping them to keep family ties when possible, or creating households of service sims, then I placed them on the new save and added relationship with MCCC.. and I wanted to die, so much respect for @TriggerBlade work, I didn't get how tedious this was for such an amount of sims.. 4- IT'S STILL A MESS. [Insert anti-EA rant here] there is still a lot of broken stuff and LE, apparently this "brainblasted_InjectionTools" broke down a couple of months ago, I removed it (don't know why I have it, maybe it's for the assing NPC mod from what I read, bit it wasn't working anyway) but I still get a lot of weird errors like action_university manus_handling and other unintelligible (for me) stuff, but luckily it seems minor stuff. The 0.4 savegame was almost unplayable for me for the little I tried it, this new one for the most part works, it gets bumpy sometimes with LE but it's manageable, even if annoying. Service NPC doesn't seem to work and it's pissing me off.. I thought I had a smart plan about it: I wanted to wait till EA created randoms to fill the npc jobs and then switch them through MCCC copy/paste function, I would miss the extra traits but whatever, they're NPC.. problem is EA only used existing sims this time.. no problem, I imported the Service NPC households, marked as "other households" and used assign NPC to remove the existing from their roles and use mine.. but EA is dumb.. so it still makes stupid choices even if the npc already has a career it doesn't matter, and all the delivery where handled by "the roomies", I played them just to remove them from the roles and have Ea use mines, but then it was Mortimer Goth, who decided to make ends meet by working as a Zoom rider as a second job, why not? He was still unplayed but in one of my household.. who cares said EA! I have 6 assigned bartenders with relevant skills, yet when there is a bar to man EA recalls from retirement Grandpa Nishidake, who I suspect doesn't even know how to make cocktails.. I have this ridiculous thing where EA seems to prefer only sims with celebrity levels to work as maids, 'cause they're humble? So generally I can't even interact with them because my sims are starstruck.. Also, even if I checked in MCCC "only used saved outfits" I keep seeing played sims going around with random oufits when I'm not actively controlling their households.. Now I HAVE to keep playing because of the sunk cost fallacy.. but man, is EA evil.. Sorry for the WOT 3

The new rebuild will be more of a remake. Looking forward to the rebuild, but I hope you don't too much culling in regards to the Sims, one of the draws of the Save is the multitude and diverse Sims you run into. But I have one suggestion though, can you make the premade sims a bit denser in terms of how many lots they take up, I like to play my own households alongside the premade ones but it's really difficult to incorporate additional sims and expand upon them in the save as it is, due to limited lot space, I figure with the new rental lot mechanic you can have more households per lot and free up some of the others for player usage. I also recommend limiting the number of retail lots as well so players have some room to plop down their own without feeling like they're subtracting from the world. 1

Them being in the save or being an optional download you can just toss into the save won't make a difference as they're not really acquainted with anyone. We have a surprisingly high number of those sims. On a separate note. We will most likely be abandoning this thread. We have our own internal group name and it's a better representation. While mrrakkon's sims make up 2/3 of the save, a lot of the sims are made by collaborators or were made with mrrakkon. So it will be a new thread called "[Group Name]'s World." 4

WW WP PolyfractalCareer Escort are mods that I use. It probably takes 5 minutes to get into the game and find everything in the 69GB mods folder. There are no 123 errors when traveling. The switching times feel a little longer than with the Vanilla+. In the Summertime Saga the lots also seem to be crazy, I can place the households, save the houses, tried building in Vanilla+save. I can even invite these sims from Saga ,i can switch to them to play, but in the end they can't even travel home . The least hassle is to have a savefile without sims from Sweety Whrigt84 ,with MCCC and simply import your own sims lol.
