I dont think that someone will spend so much time on this That's quite the disservice to the modding community. Literally trying to make color alterations for existing armors that don't have any for other people to download. I have lotta experience in texturing (just check out my previous mods for evidence). So I have no clue why someone wouldn't want to guide me in the right direction. Clearly I'm new to Fallout 4. But wow, definitely expected the community to be a lot more welcoming than this. What a shame. Also, literally all they would have to do is load it in FO4 edit and see what I did wrong. Doesn't seem like it would take that long...
xXDeliteXx Posted March 21, 2022 Author Posted March 21, 2022 Currently i'm working on a mashup of DX Bikini and shoes from HN66s TRS Outfits I have successfully merged the meshes, and applied all of the material swaps for the bikini. However I've tried to apply the same methods to making material swaps for the shoes, but whenever I swap the color in the Workbench no colors change, it just stays black. If I could please get any help, you'd be contributing to this mod and will help me be able to share it to everyone faster. finish the rest. DX Bikini x TRS.esp
xXDeliteXx Posted March 23, 2022 Author Posted March 23, 2022 I have the file updated as a beta, it includes the everything All the textures and materials, packed for the game But as you may notice, only the original TRS textures work on the shoes None of the ones I created work, they just show up with the missing pink color Additionally, the material are in an undesirable texture, which I'd like to work on after addressing the first issue
Sgt. Marge Posted March 23, 2022 Posted March 23, 2022 I appreciate what you are trying to do and I think it's cool. You may find better support for this task on a modding discord that is more geared towards outfits. To be honest I'm not sure exactly where that would be, but you could start on the LoversLab or AAF discords as people would probably have better ideas there of where to go than I do. The AAF discord invite is in the Up-To-Date adult guide and the LL discord is on the front page. I think there's a discord called "Collective Modding", that might be a good resource if you can catch an invite to that. Unfortunately this tech support forum tends to be geared more towards general troubleshooting, but you could certainly leave the thread up and maybe someone will come along with the right knowledge. Edit: Found the invite link to Collective Modding: https://discord.gg/DfFYJtt8p4 Good luck.
