Malacare Posted June 26, 2013 Posted June 26, 2013 I am very new to Sexout and have been having some difficulty getting Sexout to work. I think I have the correct load order, because I read something prideslayer posted about what had to be where and all that. The deal is, I can't load up my game without it crashing when I use Sexout. (I'm an idiot and don't know how to copy my load order, can someone tell me how?)
Ark of Truth Posted June 26, 2013 Posted June 26, 2013 To get your load order open Fallout Mod Manager and do the following: Look along the menu bar Select "Load Order" Select "Copy to clipboard" Copy and paste into your opening post (The one above this one) inside a spoiler tag.
prideslayer Posted June 27, 2013 Posted June 27, 2013 Sounds like another victim of "wrong version of NVSE syndrome." Make sure you are using version 3 beta 2, and not version 2 beta 12. On the NVSE site the correct one is the second one, marked 'beta version', which is in fact newer than the one marked 'latest version' or 'current latest build'. 3 > 2. If that's not it, do as Ark suggested.

Ark of Truth, I'm using Nexus Mod Manager and I can't seem to find that. Prideslayer, funny enough at one point I did use the beta but then I had to re-install my game and when I was re-installing NVSE I though it didn't really matter. Trying it now!
Malacare Posted June 27, 2013 Author Posted June 27, 2013 It didn't work, I can run Sexout.esm, SCR.esm, SexoutSlavery.esm, SexoutLegion.esm, SexoutStore.esm, wsex.esm, wsexInnuendoAnimations.esp, wsexInnuendoNPCs.esp and all the other faction .esps but I can't run anything else. The problem isn't NVSE or that I have too many mods. Let me give you an example of what I can't run out of a long list. SexoutSS_C.esp, SexoutWillow.esp, SmallerTalk.esp, and SexoutRex.esp.
BruceWayne Posted June 27, 2013 Posted June 27, 2013 Make sure you download the correct version of SexoutWillow. If you are using SCR download the SCR version. If you're using SSR use the SSR version. And the original Willow mod of course...
Malacare Posted June 27, 2013 Author Posted June 27, 2013 Make sure you download the correct version of SexoutWillow. If you are using SCR download the SCR version. If you're using SSR use the SSR version. And the original Willow mod of course... It seems as if I'm using the SSR version, since when I click on it, it shows me the description which has SSR as required. While typing this I looked for SSR but couldn't find it. Would someone be so kind as to give me a link? P.S. If I could get anything out of my list to work, it would be SexoutWillow
BruceWayne Posted June 27, 2013 Posted June 27, 2013 SSR is part of the Sexout main download. You can however just download the SCR version of SOWillow from the link in my signature.
Malacare Posted June 27, 2013 Author Posted June 27, 2013 I can't find it. Please don't kill me Edit:Thanks! I found it. The idiot I am......
BruceWayne Posted June 27, 2013 Posted June 27, 2013 Again, without a load order, helping is difficult. There is a load order function in NMM as well. But first and foremost, use FOMM to manage your Fallout mods. NMM breaks more than it fixes regarding Fallout compatibility.

Furthermore, depending on what versions of the mods you use you need SSR for the tryouts and sewerslave. I'm a little out of the loop regarding the current versions of these, but I think, if you're using the current versions you need SSR. I'm not sure why you have 46 active plugins, but 136 in total. Rule is: If you don't need them, remove them or nasty things can and -most likely- will happen.
Malacare Posted June 27, 2013 Author Posted June 27, 2013 It's not that I don't use those plugins, I couldn't find a way to copy only the Sexout mods to my clipboard without copying all my mods, so I disabled them to be able to only copy the ones I wanted. Also, I'll check into the mods I'm missing. I remember installing those, but I don't know how they got uninstalled.
BruceWayne Posted June 27, 2013 Posted June 27, 2013 Posting parts of your load order is pointless. Always post the complete load order.

BruceWayne Posted June 27, 2013 Posted June 27, 2013 Okay, on first glance my advice from before is still sound. I'm not familiar with them, but those Boone plugins sound like optionals. This load order looks like a big fiery ball visible from outer space. And there are still 13 more plugins that you are not showing me. Check out this thread by Kainschilde. Since you already have a mod manager start with step two. Use BOSS to clean up the mess and make yourself familiar with FNVEdit and the creation of a merged patch. Running the game with this amount of mods without the use of those two things is not recommended, sexout or not.
RitualClarity Posted June 27, 2013 Posted June 27, 2013 Furthermore, depending on what versions of the mods you use you need SSR for the tryouts and sewerslave. I'm a little out of the loop regarding the current versions of these, but I think, if you're using the current versions you need SSR. Sexout Core 2.6.78 has SSR.esm included. If it is loaded it will automatically load SSR. The question is was the SSR enabled Tryouts loaded or were the regular ones on this site loaded. Unless the one he is using is from here. He should be only using SCR ones. A simple run of FNVedit should show if there are hidden dependencies. My advice would be to scale back everything to a very basic known mod configuration. Sexout, some supporting mods. (very few) eliminated the other mods until you get the base working properly. Then slowly add a mod and its requirements until you have a game worth playing. Test between with some saves you have. If that isn't acceptable and you are familiar with FNVedit run it and it will tell you the major issues of mod dependencies and help make sure that the load order is OK. If not it will give you messages that can figure out the issue.
Malacare Posted June 27, 2013 Author Posted June 27, 2013 Oh, those 13 more are some that I haven't gotten around to removing. I'll deal with this another time by myself, I need to get my computer repaired. Thanks for the help.
RitualClarity Posted June 28, 2013 Posted June 28, 2013 Somebody really got to show you how to use the "spoiler" tag... LOL. You should be able to deactivate the mods and leave them in the "package manager" for loading later. You could even click the "Deactivate All" button and a few minutes later all the mods would be deactivated. Then test. Make sure the game runs only on FNV and DLC's if you have them. If not use "verify cache" option on Steam. Test again. When you are sure that is working. Verify that you have the correct NVSE and Extender 11 installed and in the correct place. After that start loading one or two mods at a time and test. You will run in to an issue then we can work that issue out. and move on. Continue until you have a proper mods loaded in a way you want. It will take some time but it is an experience well earned. later you will be able to start to Dx your own issues.

Don't use the NMM manager for Fallout New Vegas, use the Fallout Mod Manager. It's a lot more stable when it comes to modding New Vegas.
prideslayer Posted June 28, 2013 Posted June 28, 2013 The "how to get help" sticky covers this entire situation. Start by disabling everything, and then begin enabling them one at a time until you find one causing a crash. A straight CTD to desktop almost always means a missing ESM. NMM "should" work for Sexout, but it's not supported (by me, anyway). In the normal (non-adult) fallout download section, I have released a custom build of FOMM which gets rid of some of the bugs it has, and will also display a helpful message for fixing the damage NMM causes if you used an older version that tried to use the same mod directory as FOMM and thus broke FOMM. SCR and SSR also should be able to coexist happily. Any incompatabilities will be minor annoyances, not game breaking. For example, the SSRified beta of Legion Tryout uses the slave outfits from SSR, not SCR. They look identical, but Pregnancy will not "recognize" the SSR versions as having pregnant versions, so it will not be able to swap them for pregnant versions.
