Custom mesh crashes when NPC equips it

I have no idea what you are using BSFadeNode for. Was this a ground model?
Here is an adjusted nif. Whether Circlet (42) is wanted - no idea. Also check the ShaderFlag.

Oh wow, it stopped crashing! Thank you! Yeah, it was a ground model. Used the sack container as a base. How did you do it?

With NifSkope.

BSFadeNode (Root Node) converted to NiNode (right click -> convert).

Deleted the bhkColissionObject and the NiNodes BSX and BSFaceGenNiNodeSkinned with CTRL+DEL (Remove Branch).

Finally Spells->Optimize->Remove Unused Strings
