IceStormNG Posted March 5, 2022 Posted March 5, 2022 IceStorm's Clothes View File IceStorm's Clothes - Version 5.11  See my Patreon for more mods, screenshots or if you want to support me.  Requirements Fallout 4 (obviously) DLC: Nuka World DLC: Far Harbor DLC: Contraptions Workshop CBBE BodySlide (Optionally but highly recommended) Fallout 4 High Heels System (FO4HHS) and it's depenencies IceStorm's Socks and Pantyhose https://storage.icestormng-mods.de/s/Lj2dWqjAdFkk3TB IceStorm's Shoe Sounds https://storage.icestormng-mods.de/s/sSY5P6q77odgk9K Commonwealth Cuts (KSHairdos) and KSHairdos with Physics. ESPs of both don't need to be active, but both mods need to be installed as I have no permission to include files of them into my mod. At least 20GiB of disk space for installing the main package. 4K textures need additional 60GiB (The 4K pack "only" takes up additional 32GiB, but the archive needs to be extracted so you need the size of the archive + the size of the unpacked BA2) Incompatibilities This mod is incompatible with every mod that touches Fallon's Basement. If you use Ultra Interrior lighting, you may face severe performance degradation inside Fallon's. Remove Fallon's basement edits from Ultra Interror Lighting with FO4Edit. You can delete alle edits to Cell -> Block 3 -> Sub-Block 6.  Notes Perfume can be crafted at the chemlab under 'Autumn Perfume'. You need the recipes for each type of perfume. They can be bought from Nicole. Not all of them are available at a time. After buying one, the same one shouldn't be available for sale afterwards. Like most merchants in Diamond City, all merchants in Fallon's give you a discount when having Piper as a companion. Fallons is now opened 24/7. The locked room on the upper floor is not meant to be opened by the player right now. Diamond City (and the turrets inside Fallons) will turn hostile if the player unlocks the door. You can only have one perfume effect active at a time. Consuming another one will dispell the currently active effect. This is intended. The water inside Fallon's is purifed and does not cause radiation damage (although... who drinks the decorative water inside a shopping mall?)   Known Issues The Cardigan has some major distortion under the arm pits. The reason is that the outfit is to "thick" and the game screws up on parts of the weighting. Animations with objects (trying perfume, checking the shoes) won't let you change camera zoom/perspective after starting the animation. This is a vanilla behavior. You have to change to 3rd person and zoom out before entering the furniture object and starting the animation. Due to the lack of voice actors, dialogues are text-only for now. Dialogues without voice can't be skipped and are displayed way longer than you would need to read the text. This is a vanilla game behavior and cannot be overridden by a mod. The large table and large shelf are invisible in the workshop menu, but can be placed without problems. One of the beach chairs can't be used right now. The player can get stuck under the umbrella in Fallon's.  How to acquire the outfits? You have several options: Buy them from Rebecca in Fallon's basement (she's at the checkout, you might not recognize her first... hehe) Craft them at the chem station (you have to enabled crafting in the settings holotape) Craft them with the manufacturing machines. You have to build them in Workshop mode.   Download Files:  The two download links provided are the two download mirrors. They contain the same files. If you have download issues with one of them, try the other one.  Main File Contains: ESP, Main Data, BodySlide Shape Data, 2k Textures (Uncompressed: 16.6 GiB) Size: 12.3 GiB Download: 8.61 GiB SHA256: 044f1c6ef165ac9ac22659185ecd7d32b72a058b3a4a7a4a460c207cf769f5b5  4K Textures Contains: 4K Textures (Uncompressed: 64.1 GiB) Size: 39.1 GiB Download: 34.2 GiB SHA256: 1383e3bc9d1223a3c87e1a9f48e41265b8759109e77cad89beda922cbff4d861 **WARNING: May need more than 30 GiB of system memory when visiting Fallon's Basement!** **!!! DO NOT EVEN TRY TO UNPACK AND INSTALL AS LOOSE FILES. !!!**    FAQ  How to acquire the blueprints You have do complete a little quest. Look for a note near Moe Cronin where you usually find bounty hunts. The note is called "Shipment in Libertalia". You will have to pick up the note to start the quest. Just reading it will not start it.  What does the X+ on some mods mean? That's a base-game "feature". It simply means that the modification was either bought or lootetd. Therefore it can be used an unlimited amount of times.  High Heels are clipping into the ground! Install HHS and make sure it is working correctly.  I can see parts of the old Fallon's clipping through the floor. See 'Incompatibilities'. You have another mod that edits Fallon's Basement. Try to place my mod below that one.  Do I need the 4K textures? Well, if you have to ask this question: No. 4K textures are designed for very powerfull rigs. You need a lot of memory (both RAM and VRAM). 8GiB of VRAM and 32GiB of RAM should be sufficient. You can only see the difference compared to the 2k textures when playing on very high resolutions (UHD or higher) or when making close-up screenshots.  Outfits clip with my body Please build the outfits in BodySlide for your body preset.  Why do all outfits look like Lorenzo's Suit? Sorry dude. They're only for the ladies  Can I port these items to other body types and upload it? Yes. Just link to this mod (either here, or Patreon) so people can download this as master. Your mod should only contain the ported meshes and not the whole mod.   Can I use parts of this mod in my own mod and publish it? Yes. Under the following conditions you can use parts of this mod (some outfits, meshes, textures) in your own mod: No paywall. The mod must be free to download. Credit me for the parts used. The high heels and flats footstep sounds are excluded as they're assets from other authors I have permission to use. But I cannot grant that permission to others.   Credits Empty voice files to support dialog skipping provided by JB. Hey Icestorm, congratulations on your mod! I also leave my little tutorial to make lip files so your NPCs can move their lips and the player can skip dialogue.  In Creation Kit  Go to the Quest that contains the dialogues. On the "Quest Data" tab, tap the "Export Quest Dialogue" button. This will generate a txt file in the root folder of Fallout 4.   Download this and install it.  https://sourceforge.net/projects/silent-voice-generator/files/Silent Voice Generator 1.0.0.0/   Open "Silent Voice Generator.exe".  Adjusts: Game: Fallout 4 Audio File Output: FUZ Check the box; "Generate Lip Synch"  Select "Add Files" and add the txt generated by Creation Kit. If you have multiple quests like me, include all the txt files you generated.   In a few seconds you will have it finished. The files will be generated in the Output folder (it is in the same folder where Silent Voice Generator.exe is.). Enter and copy the entire "Sound"  folder and paste it into your main folder of your mod.  Data / Sound To package it I use Archive2.exe, which comes with the Creation Kit. (Fallout4/Tools/Archive2.exe) Open the exe, choose the Sound folder and create the archive. It should be called IceStormsClothes - Voices_en.BA2  You can still use loose files in anyways. IceStormNG Posted March 5, 2022 Author Posted March 5, 2022 Thanks for the tip. If I ever touch that part again, I will add the silent voice files. Â I haven't touched the quest releated stuff since some versions, and just made more clothes.

 IceStormsClothes - Voices_en.BA2 3
IceStormNG Posted March 5, 2022 Author Posted March 5, 2022 Thank you. I will add it to the next release then. Â And maybe as additional download bundle for the current one.
ForsakenNomad Posted March 6, 2022 Posted March 6, 2022 Everything turned up purple when I had the 4K textures installed. Going back to the main package everything appeared fine. Looking at the BA2 file to make sure it wasn't corrupted I noticed this:  https://i.imgur.com/y9fvCnl.png  Looks like the folder structure is wrong since there is a "4K Textures" folder at the root that everything appears to be under. Â

I will upload a fix. This can take some time as that file is large and German internet isn't know for its speed.
ForsakenNomad Posted March 6, 2022 Posted March 6, 2022 Not a big deal, the 2K textures work just fine and I can always unpack the BSA if I really want 4K. Just thought I would point it out just in case other people who don't know how to unpack a BSA have this happen to them.
IceStormNG Posted March 6, 2022 Author Posted March 6, 2022 (edited) Yeah. Well. But I warn against unpacking the 4K textures. Because loose textures fill up your RAM much quicker as the engine cannot stream mipmaps directly but has to load and decode the whole file just to get a small mip map from it. BA2s are allow to stream a specific mip-map right away. This causes also stutter and insane memory usage when entering Fallon's basement. (In my testing around 45-57GiB RAM). With BA2 just around 9-12GiB. Â Anyways. I deleted the 4K file from the server for now. So people at leat don't download it right now. Edited March 6, 2022 by IceStormNG
IceStormNG Posted March 7, 2022 Author Posted March 7, 2022 Alright. The file is uploaded now to both mirrors. Those, who downloaded the 4K bundle, have to download it again. If you're unsure whether you have the right one, just open the BA2 in Archive2 or BAE and check the path. Or, compare the SHA256 Sums of the 7z archive with the one on the download server.
Chupacabra Gonzales Posted May 8, 2022 Posted May 8, 2022 (edited) Hi there, I'm not sure if you're aware, but this mod seems to be changing Magnolia's outfit to a long thick yellow/golden dress. (https://imgur.com/a/q3lR2mE) It would be a good idea to document the fact that the mod is changing outfits and potentially provide a list of all affected NPCs. I totally forgot about that over all the years that I worked on this mod lol. Yeah, I should probably document this. Thanks for reminding me. 1
leoto Posted June 24, 2022 Posted June 24, 2022 Finally found you. Didn't know that you quit nexus and didn't recall your nexus Id. Definitely love your mods. I was a fan of your high heels mods back in the days. My last time playing fallout 4 was like 4 years ago. Now I am trying to get all your mods in my new playthrought. My question Is, is IcestormNG's tactical stuff included in this mod?  Â

The tactical stuff is a separate mod. But: If you go to my patreon (linked in the mod description), you will find a link to my storage server and OneDrive. There you can find every mod I ever released, also the Tactical Stuff. 1

The game, by default, does not make a lot of use from cubemapping, but my mod does. You can add this line to your Fallout4Custom.ini  [Display] iMaxNumberOfCubemapsPerFrame=200  Remeber: The value should never exceed 255, or your game crashes on load. 200 is a good value and works very stable for me and some other users. This should get rid of the bug that some metallic parts randomly turn black. Might also fix various other mods. 3
kdoggg1971 Posted July 11, 2022 Posted July 11, 2022 I was hoping someone else had this issue, but I see nothing about it. Upon entering Fallon's Basement, my game goes to like 2fps (just guessing by how slow it gets). When I left, my game was stuck at that same speed until I rebooted my computer. Not sure why this happens when I don't even have the Boston lag anymore, but it really annoys me that I can't find a reason for it. I do like the clothes and the customizing options, so is there a chance there is a "non-shop" version?Â
Chupacabra Gonzales Posted July 11, 2022 Posted July 11, 2022 (edited) I am having trouble when entering Fallon's Basement as well. My character just keeps falling through the floor in an endless loop. EDIT: My character, my follower and some random items (mannequit, some wooden tray) are falling through the floor, looks like a floor collision issue. I am using this mod and the ones from your Patreon, all with 4k textures. I checked FO4Edit and it doesn't look like any other mod is attempting to modify the Fallon's Basement interior. Could it be some kind of memory-related issue? I noticed that the first time I reloaded a save to escape the endless loop all my mods brought up the initialization (AAF confirmation, Sex Attributes "select dominant type", etc) popup as if I was just starting a new save. This kinda makes me suspect it's a memory issue, but just wanted to check if you had any experience with similar cases. EDIT 2: I saw in the original post a warning that the game may need at least 30GB system memory when visiting the store. I think this is the solution I am looking for, but I am not sure how to enact it. My PC has 128 RAM, so I think it should be able to handle it. Dudemer Posted September 4, 2022 Posted September 4, 2022 Is there Any way to get a Unedited Fallon's Basement?
IceStormNG Posted September 4, 2022 Author Posted September 4, 2022 2 hours ago, Dudemer said: Is there Any way to get a Unedited Fallon's Basement? You would have to manually remove all the edits from the ESP, and also delete the PreCombined meshes and SCOL Data from the Main.ba2. Right now, I do not intend to maintain two versions of this mod. I did before but it was a lot of extra work to keep them in sync.

Is there an earlier Version I can just make work with the new clothes mesh and textures.
