Oiboi Posted June 26, 2013 Posted June 26, 2013 So I've narrowed it down to sexout.esm as the cause, but I can't find a solution no matter what. I've tried old versions, the latest version, I've tried with and without NVSE. It won't load previously saved games, and if I make a new game it plays the opening cinematic fine, then after the load screen it crashes. The save game has the same exact behaviour. I have everything installed. Why won't this work? Do I need to unpack the .bsa's or something? I installed all the .fomod's using FOMM, so that should be working fine. I have all requirements up to date. If anyone could help, it'd be appreciated.
Halstrom Posted June 26, 2013 Posted June 26, 2013 Without NVSE is a garanted crash, check you have the exact version of NVSE installed and the Extender installed in the correct place 90% of issues are one or the other.
ronttu Posted June 26, 2013 Posted June 26, 2013 You didn't say if this was with a fresh install of FNV, but on the off chance that it is, google for the d3d9.dll fix. That's one of the things that causes the game to crash as soon as it would have to load the game world, while working fine in the opening menu and cinematics.
RitualClarity Posted June 26, 2013 Posted June 26, 2013 1) Always post a load order in Tech Support. Even if you don't think it is necessary. 2) Download BOSS and run it. 3) Check the load order and make changes per the instructions given from the mod authors on the load order Requirements. Members here on LL could help check the load order but you don't have one posted.... so we can't ... 4) Could be missing a mod requirement. Double check to make sure that you have everything required installed. Check this page out to be sure that even though you "have everything installed" to be sure it is "installed" correctly.
Gᴀʟᴠᴀɴɪᴢᴇ Posted June 26, 2013 Posted June 26, 2013 I constantly get CTD, I have found out it is due to RAM issues, have you ruled that out yet?
