Skullbanger69 Posted November 5, 2023 Posted November 5, 2023 Is this project still on progress or was it abandoned? I wish I knew how to mod cause I’d offer to help if I did

The future of video games and mods; It's really uncertain.
vaultbait Posted November 12, 2023 Posted November 12, 2023 Actually, I'm hopeful mods like this will see a resurgence. I discovered, after some searching, that making perk images isn't all that hard, just hard to find instructions for (I'm adding some custom ones to upcoming versions of my mods). The steps are pretty easy: Choose or make suitable artwork (make sure that, if you use someone else's art, they've provided permission for you to do so). If the art is in a raster format (PNG, JPEG, whatever) then convert it to a vector format (preferably SVG); there are now AI-based cloud services that will vectorize art for you. Open a vanilla game SWF image in the free/open source JPEXS Flash decompiler (FFDec). Replace the shapes with your imported SVG, delete any extra animation frames you don't want, and save. If you want an animated SWF, you can import multiple SVG files as separate shapes for each frame.
