JoshJosh80 Posted March 3, 2022 Posted March 3, 2022 How to create a custom makeup like these, and that can be used on any model?
Guest Posted March 7, 2022 Posted March 7, 2022 Hi, it depends on what you're using. If you use the game without hook, you will need to edit the makeup textures of the game. It depends on whether they are ActiveMod enabled or not. If you use hook5, unfortunately I don't use any other hook version, you can make overlays for the skin and load them directly onto the model via a layer in the skin section of hook5. Making these texture overlays would require an editing software like Gimp or Photoshop. Normally, you would load the face texture of the skin you're using and add a transparent layer on top of that to paint the makeup. A more sophisticated way would be to use a 3D software like Substance painter or Blender to directly paint on the 3D model. But that requires far more work, but also resulting in quality textures.

Thanks friend! In which folder can I find the makeup textures? Thanks for help!!
Guest Posted March 20, 2022 Posted March 20, 2022 Hi, so the files that I found in the mod_orig.bs in the path_to_game\VX-Mod\Scripts\Shared\ folder contains the lines: "Shared/Body/head_tattoo_royo01" , "head_tattoo_royo01" , "Dress1871_Description" , "Shared/Body/head_tattoo_tribal01" , "head_tattoo_tribal01" , "Dress1872_Description" , "Shared/Body/head_tattoo_tribal02" , "head_tattoo_tribal02" , "Dress1873_Description" , "Shared/Body/head_tattoo_tribal03" , "head_tattoo_tribal03" , "Dress1874_Description" , "Shared/Body/head_tattoo_tribal04" , "head_tattoo_tribal04" , "Dress1875_Description" , and I would suggest to lake a look at those pictures in the images.zip file in the Archives folder. If they match the whole female face texture in dimensions, you can load the female face texture into any photo editing program like Gimp or Photoshop. You might then make a new transparent layer and paint the tattoo on it. The new textures that you created have to be named like the textures here, e.g. head_tattoo_royo01.png, and you have to put them into a new folder in the ActiveMod folder of the game. This folder should have a name like cat makeup or different so that you can find the new makeup in the customizer menu. If you use hook5 paid, I would recommend a custom skin and load the makeup texture as a new layer.
