Mod Load Order and Early Game Freeze

The game loads, but it never gets to the bomb before my entire computer freezes trying to load the game. Maybe a mod is trying to choose then to load? I have pictures, if anyone can help.

Dont use mods untill you leave vault, if still problem disable group of mods and test

@ABakedWaffle unfortunately this is your best option as once you pass a certain number of mods, you have to take a very proactive hand in setting up your game.   While others may have a different number in mind, generally when you move past 200 mods (or less if you use major mods like CAP and Outcasts), you may have to build your own patches.   What you describe may be a conflict between two mods trying to edit each other, or you are simply running out of swap cache, or  any number of other external issues since you are freezing and not CTDing.  

 

Indarello is likely right, but I have a feeling your issue is more of a PC issue.

I'll give it a try, but with a new 8gb video card, and 32 gb of RAM, it had better /not/ be a computer problem

Okay, so it's running now, but it doesn't look like CBBE is working? My character doesn't become nude? Without clothes, they return to the base nevernude model

That is progress, no more freezing screen.    CBBE re-install may do the trick as I have, in the past, left one of the default selections (for males, they never got nude...kinda immersive breaking esp with Nuka Ride).

Usually it is the drivers if you are using windows that are the culprit.   However, sometimes people will run several apps in the background, taking up lots of RAM (bloatware, like Epic Games or some such program), however with 32gb, that shouldn't be an issue

CBBE re-install didn't seem to do anything, unfortunately. I still have a nevernude body, even though I selected nude

Did you build the nude body in Bodyslide?

I thought I did! I did the same thing as always, which was to use the zipsuit to build my nude body, built the batch, and saved it to my character's file. I did the same with other NPC entities

The zipsuit?  I don't understand how that would work.  Do you choose a preset like curvy or petite or whatever?

It builds the .tri and .nif files? I press the "build" button using my character's preset, and select the file path - it's worked every time before. I tried to find a nude body version, but the zipsuit mod was as close as I could get to actually /seeing/ what I was doing

You shouldn't need to use an armor mod to build the nude body.  I don't think that works.  If you are building the nif for the zipsuit, it's only building that armors nif. 

 

You want to build the femalebody.nif that goes into \Meshes\Actors\Character\Characterassets.  In order to do that, you first choose the group that your body is in, then choose the body you want in the drop down on the left, along with the preset in the drop down below that, and tick the build morphs checkbox and click "Build".  It's the build moprhs checkbox which tells bodyslide to give you the .tri file.

 

Here's what mine looks like when I build the FusionGirl body, the concept is the same.
