I'm trying to make a boot smaller, with more leg showing, but when I do, it looks transparent. How can I fix it? I have read some stuff and seen some videos and seems like is because the item is replacing the body part, so when I remove this part, is removing the body part ingame, but how can I add the body part back or something like that?

So, you're removing a portion of the boot itself? my first thought is that since the boot covers this portion of the leg it removes it. it also looks like you're recreating the wheel cause this has already been done. it's not exactly the same look but it's close to what you're doing.
