Mod that gives NPCs different (nude) body types?

Recommended Posts

I'm brand new to Skyrim and game modding. I installed my first 'adult' mod today: CBBE. I was thrilled when I unequipped the clothes from my first NPC, but then disappointed when I unequipped my third one and realized every NPC has the same body, just with different skin tones. After a few more I just stopped bothering.  Is there any mod that gives NPCs different nude body types, or even just applies different nipple and/or vagina meshes and/or pubic hair?

in addition to the Every Body's Different mod posted above, if you use Bodyslide to set the bodies to be thin at Weight 0 and curvy at Weight 100 then all NPCs will be somewhere on a spectrum based on their weight.

If you do this, you will either need a bodyslide preset that does this (not sure of one) or do it yourself.  It's not hard if you use a preset you like as the base.  For example, using a curvy preset and then using the 0 weight settins to be thin.  Only take about 5 minutes once you play around with the sliders, just like if you create a new character.

Thank you!  This sounds like exactly what I seek, but the install and deployment is daunting for a noon who installed Skyrim for the first time three days ago.  I'll try installing Bodyslide first and adjusting the weights, as also suggested.  I'll come back to this mod in the future, after learning to walk before I try to run.

Thanks again!

Thank you!  I'll install Bodyslide as my second-ever "adult" mod and follow your suggestions.  Bodyslide seems to be a required mod for nearly every other adult mod, so it's a natural progression.

Do you know if Bodyslide allows a random distribution of nipple/vagina/pubic hair meshes?  Or if it's possible to command use of certain meshes to certain weights (if I correctly understand that NPCs throughout the game have various weights assigned to them)?

Thanks again for taking a moment to help this noob and any others that read.this thread!

Yes, if you are going to do anything with outfits or bodies you will need bodyslide.  Virtually every outfit you download will need to be run through BodySlide and any change in body types will as well.  There may be exceptions, but they are so rare I don't know any off the top of my head.

BodySlide is very easy once you take 15 minutes to learn it and watch a tutorial.

Most people only really need to know 2 things:

1)  How to edit a body shape.

2)  How to batch build outfits.

Both are very easy once you understand the control panel, which is not very obvious at first.

For bodies, once you know how to add and select a body all you really do is move sliders, very similar to how you do it in-game.  I recommend downloading a BodySlide preset to use as a "base model" and then change it to your liking, that way you're already 90% to the body you like just off the preset.

For example, I used a preset and change it slightly for the 100 weight bodies and then make everything thinner for the 0 weight bodies.  Bodyslide will then morph the bodies on weights in between on a spectrum.  So, to make up an example, if the belly setting is "20" at 100 weight and "10" at 0 weight, 50 weight NPCs will have "15" belly setting.  75 body weight will have "17.5" and so on.

Preset I use, so you have an example of presets: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/36743

For batch building outfits, once you know how to set up the batch build it is mainly know which body you are building the outfit for.  Most outfit mods are for a specific body (ex - 3BA), but a few will have options for (CBBE, 3BA, etc.).  For those you will be given an option which body to build it for.  If there are no options it will just do it automatically.

It's pretty simple once you see it done in a video.

Most people will never need to use Outfit Studio.  I've never used it despite having 50+ outfit mods. OS can fix some problems, allow you mod outfits, and stuff.  But you really don't need to worry about it unless you want to.  It is a part of the download and mod launch, but don't worry about learning it unless you really want to.

I don't know about nipples and such.  I don't think so, if you are talking about specific mods.  BodySlide does, however, have several sliders around nipples that you can adjust that will distribute to NPCs according to the settings you choose.  But I don't think anything with body hair or such is in BS.

I also don't think you would be changing meshes, though I know nothing on this topic.  I think that goes beyond what BodySlide does, but someone else would be better to answer you question on that.  I don't think so, but I don't know.

yeah, you will want RaceMenu most likely.

You should follow a guide when first setting up your mods.  For example, there's a great one for MO2 users here:

A guide like this one will walk you through installing the "base" mods you are going to need to run other mods.  Mods like Fuz Ro Doh, SkyUI, RaceMenu, SKSE, FNIS, and such.  Most mods here won't run without these core mods.

Also, as someone who's really new, start simple and slowly build up.  If you're looking for ideas on improving the "look" of your game, I made a list of the ones I use for a mid-tier computer.  None of the mods conflict with each other, but they may with other mods.  Just a list to give you an idea:
