Half-Moon Mill with ethereal ambient sound - mod or vanilla?

Travelling on the road from the direction of Riverwood, I've arrived at Half-Moon Mill and as soon as the location discovery popped up, about half-way through the bridge crossing the stream I noticed a very distinctive ambient sound in the background. It was exactly the same ethereal chiming sound you get inside Temple of Kynareth in Whiterun or Temple of the Divines in Solitude. The sound appears to be present all around the mill and the house but not inside. It stops shortly after you leave the area.

I have never noticed it before, therefore I assume it was either added by a mod or I was very bad at paying attention for the last 11 years of playing Skyrim on various platforms. The last huge change I made to my load order was adding LOTD and a bunch of supporting mods, but it may have completely different source (Immersive Sounds Compendium maybe?) Is anyone able to confirm if this is present in vanilla? Not that it matters, but it struck me as so odd, considering the... inhabitants of this place that I had to make this post and ask.

That sound is probably from the ethereal chest (can't remember the exact name of it now) from LOTD.  The chest relocates itself every few in-game hours, so when you hear it you definitely want to find it, because it's filled with loot and after you find it you can summon it at will.

IIRC the location near HM Mill is west of the mill itself (away from the lake), same end of the bridge but opposite side.

There are a couple dozen possible locations.  One is in a cave with Forsworn, I think one was an island in the NE of Solstheim, not sure if I found any others.  Find it once though and you're good.

I see. I think I saw it in one of Gopher's videos. Too late now to grab it, I'm way over at Solitude now, just spoke to Auryen and got first assignment. I'll know what to look for next time, but please, no more spoilers.

Its actually good that I missed it, seems like a very powerful item for a mere level 9 character. Especially with SD+ and SL Survival in my load order it feels like basically a cheat item and would trivialise the experience.

Honestly finding that chest is just pure luck.  Even if I told you all of the possible locations (which I can't because I don't know) you just have to be in the right place at the right time.

I think if you find some journal or letter you can get a clue, but it's been a while since I played Skyrim.
