Hello,

I want to make sure if its just a me issueor not. I have downloaded the newest version 167d and the game says 167c is the one I have installed. I have 167d installed. Just wandering if its just me experiencing this or not.

Thanks

You probably have an old version of WW installed somewhere in your Mods folder, or you installed the c version again by accident.

Check your Mods folder for duplicates, and remove all instances of the mod altogether and install it again.

If you have OneDrive/iCloud/Google Drive/whatever you might wanna turn off synchronization of your Mods folder as some of these cloud services are known to be a little bit overzealous in bringing back old files after you've removed them.

Remove your current version of WickedWhimsMod to desktop for now.

Delete your localthumbcache.pkg in your TS4 folder.

Load the game normally.

Did you get any errors or Wicked Notifications? (If yes then you still have a part of the old WW somewhere hidden in Mods)

If not then do a 'Save As' 'Whatever name you want'.

Delete the localthumbcache again and re-install your new WickedWhimsMod from Desktop.

You can also try using file search for TURBODRIVER*.* to see how many copies it finds.

Should only have one .package and one .ts4script found in your Mods folder.

Sometimes when downloading custom made sims they include parts of old script Mods by mistake when exporting.

I haven't played recently but when I did, I didn't get an error. I saw it still said the older version just no error ill be going back on today just to check things out. I will give this a shot if it doesn't work out. Thanks

Update i have version f now (or the latest version) so I deleted the old one and put the new one in. Usually just replacing it does the job. It was weird. Thats why i was confused toi begin with, Thanks.

That's usually the first thing to look for is an updated WW version but you will normally get the Orange Wicked Notification when loading the game that tells you a new version is available.

But you don't always have to update WW unless you either have problems or if a Game Update breaks it.

Version f had some bug fixes related to save data not being saved properly, in version g I believe.

Typically the smaller incremental WW updates are for bug fixes so it's a good idea to keep WW updated anyway.
