Any Fun Challenge Ideas?

My favorite is Rags to Riches with some rules and restrictions.

Start with new Sim and buy a bare lot.

Use the Money Cheat to set your funds to 0.

No selling items directly from inventory or selling to vendors.

No Careers or Jobs allowed.

Initially you need to be a bum and a mooch to survive.

Find picnic areas at parks to nap on benches, use the bathroom, and find some free food on occasion.

(You can also make a free quick meal anywhere you find a fridge or cooler).

(At most Bars you can order free snacks too).

(Go to Gyms for showers or wash hands at a sink 5-6 times to fix low hygiene).

(The empty house at the park on the far lower right of the San Myosho map is a good home base as you can grab free meals, take a bath, etc.).

Complete all the whims you can and reach 500 pts. and then buy the 'Always Welcome' Trait Reward.

Then you can shower, sleep, and eat at other sims homes and be a freeloader.

You can make some cash selling WW peeping pictures on a computer at the library.

Try to save up $300-400 and buy a Sales Table for Yard Sales on home lot.

This is the main goal for money making.

Anything that fits on the Sales Tables can be sold at Yard Sales.

(Some of the Cooked/Baked Breads sell for quite a bit once you have a kitchen available)

Meanwhile you're going around collecting things from digs, frogs, or whatever else you can find to sell.

Some of the festivals have free mature rare plants you can grab, plant, or sell later on.

Watch for the Spice & Romance festival notifications.

I tried the using the free Flea Market festivals Sales Tables early on but had no luck selling anything.

Too much competition from other vendors.

At some point a random NPC might call asking if you want to make some money from an inheritance.

The catch is you must get married within so many days.

Accept the offer or refuse it's up to you, but it is a chance for an easy start as you get some money with 2 different answers.

Getting Married nets the most money.

I've done it  both ways but later on I found it to be rather cheaty so I just ignored the calls.

Some other variations of the above Rags to Riches Challenge.

Backstory:

Your Grandfather left you an inheritance of a bare lot with a Tent, Campfire, & a Portable Tarp Shower.

Buy the bare lot and buy the above items and then delete your funds back to zero afterwards.

Your only allowed to use items that fit into your inventory when placing items on this lot.

Zoning laws prevent you from building any type of permanent structures.

Coolers, Portable Tables & Chairs, and whatever else fits in your sims inventory is allowed on the lot.

Keep in mind you will still have utility bills incoming, same as the first challenge.

The next one is doing the same thing but you have to set your lot type to 'Off The Grid'.

Basically it's just an 'Off the Grid Rags to Riches' Challenge but has the same rules as my first post.

Pick a Bare Lot on the Sulani north Island map because your Sim was shipwrecked there.

Collect Seashells to sell later and Shower at the Waterfalls.

Tent and Camping gear can be an option as items you found on the beach after being shipwrecked.

With the Portable Fire Pit you can cook free Hot Dogs and Marshmallows and level up cooking.

You can also go fishing and cook the fish on the Fire Pit too.

Must build your own home as funds become available.

No bills and you can eventually buy wind turbines and rain collectors to run your home appliances.

Edit: You can start with either one Sim or more than one as it doesn't really matter as you'll just have to take care of any other sims needs anyway.
