Outfit Studio error when running through MO2

Hi, gang -

I'm running into a weird error when trying to save a piece of content in Outfit Studio (launched through Mod Organizer 2).

The error is:

"Failed to write to slider set file: SliderSets\D:\Modding\MO2\mods\CBBE Pussy\Tools\Bodyslide\Slidersets\CBBE Pussy.osp."

The issue happens when I click Save. If I click Save As, I can save a copy of the project, but the end result that gets built in Fallout 4 is mangled (screwed up/broken physics, distorted features, etc).

Does anyone happen to know how to fix this issue?

Thanks in advance for your expertise!

That file path looks wonky.  The drive letter should go first, make sure correct path is defined.

It's definitely wonky, but it's not happening as a result of a setting being off. The application is correctly pointed at the MO2 override directory, but MO2 appears to be automatically injecting the path shown.

If you go into outfit studio File -> Settings, is the Game data path pointing to your correct \fallout 4\data folder?

There are several data files showing up in the "data files" area under settings?

You don't have anything installed into C:\program files?

You've run the game once without using your mod manager?

The reason I ask is because you aren't getting any textures loading in that screen shot.  Something is not connected up right.

Hey, Marg597! Thanks for your continued help here.

The textures not showing up are supposedly a correct side effect of running the application from MO2, and Bodyslide does build correctly in this configuration. Outfit Studio also detects the outfits without issue. It refuses to save, however. Here's the path I'm using.

Is there a different way I should be setting this application up to run it through MO2?

For reference, I am using Bodyslide 4.9.0 because anything above that breaks breast physics at the moment, for some reason.

I see now, I suppose it is because there's no texture associated with the item you're editing.

When you save are you choosing File -> Save Project As... ?  If so, try clicking Browse to choose a folder which will define the path in the text field and see if that has a positive effect.

Edit: Oh, I'm sorry, I guess you already answered that question.  Could try making a temp folder like D:\Temp and switch it to save there rather than Overwrite?  Maybe it's a permissions issue?

I think I may have an answer for you, the path that you have there can't be set to anything but the actual game data path.  Meaning the path that your actual game is installed to on your hard drive, ending with \data.  So for example it should be something like D:\Games (or wherever your game is installed)\steamapps\common\Fallout 4\Data

HI, @Marg597! I apologize for the late reply here. All of my notification icons got cleared and I didn't realize you'd responded.

Your analysis makes sense.

So, the problem I see with changing that path is that when I do so, the application cannot find any of my Bodyslide files and installed outfits, because they're all installed through Mod Organizer. Is there any workaround for that problem? The YouTube tutorials I've watched for this kind of setup don't seem to address this particular problem.

Run Bodyslide through Mod Organizer. (If you are already doing this, try changing the path and then exit bodyslide and open it again)
