Trying to add clothes mods to be wearable for Servitrons

So i have been trying to follow the 4 sentences from the FAQ that the mod author for Servitron on how to add wearables. Doesn't mention anything about it is only for vanilla. I have been trying to figure out how to make HN66s EasyGirl Outfits mod to work for Servitrons. so far I haven't been able to find any guides for making this happen. I am assuming i will need to make like a patch in FO4edit to be able to see any keyword options. I don't have the slightest idea how to do that though.  Anyone knows of a comprehensive guide or a modder who has made clothes and armor wearable for Servitrons?

I don't use the servitron mod in question so don't know if the outfit bones are compatible out of the box, but in FO4Edit what you'll need to do is create an override plugin for your outfit mod and make the servitron plugin one of its masters. Then in the Armor Addon record of the outfit in the override plugin you add the Servitron to the Additional Races portion.

You can and should make the override plugin ESL, of course :)

post script for clarity:

1. Open outfit mod in FO4Edit. Make sure to simultaneously open the Servitron mod as you'll need it as well.

2. Find the armor addon record of the outfit you want to give servitron compatibility

3. Copy as override into an ESL override plugin (the first time you'll need to give it a name, so give it a useful name you'll recognize, and put override in the name as well so you know it's an override. For instance: HN66EasyGirlOverrides).

4. Right click the new plugin and select Add Masters, and add Servitron.

5. Go to the armor addon record in the override plugin and find the additional races, add a new race record and make it Servitron (whatever the race name is)

6. Add any other armor addon records you want to convert to the same plugin and add the servitron race to them.

7. Make sure to click the new override plugin as active in whatever mod manager you use before playing the game.

1) You will need armor that dont takes body slot or head

2) In ck load Servitron esm and mod with clothes and add supported races for armor - servitron race

Also there 2 are examples of mods already converted by main author, why not check them?

Thank you for breaking it down! i got the race showing, i was struggling at first because i wasn't seeing it even though i added Servitron esp as master but then i realized there was a second column and where i need to add the race in. Much appreciated!

So anything besides body and head slots are okay yes? Other slots Rings. Shield, Fx and whatever else in between is fine? also I did check it out,  just i didn't know what i needed to do. like i said I had no idea how the majority of FO4edit works. the most i ever did was edit values for items. i.e Damage, Energy, Raditation resistances etc.  why i was asking for a comprehensive guide that breaks it down the steps to make it all work. I appreciate the info you gave me nonetheless. i had no idea body and head slots were a no go. does it cause issues? or is it because of clipping issues? like shoes and full head helmets?

Because head and body clothes can have human body or head inside, if you try them your servitron will have human body I think

seems i ran into an issue here. um try to adjust the load order but for some reason my overrides is required for the clothes esp? I don't understand what i did wrong. i just simply made the 2 esps master. but the override is also showing up as a master? any thoughts what it could be?

I don't know what Loot is, but I'm guessing it's Vortex which I've never used because I still use Nexus Mod Manager (community edition). However, assuming the following conditions:

1. HN66 EasyGirl plugin is a non-ESL ESP

2. Servitron plugin is a non-ESL ESP

3. Your override is an ESL-flagged plugin (regardless of if extension is ESL or ESP)

then it does not matter whether the override is first or last. ESL plugins can be in any order and are automatically loaded by the game after the non-ESL masters.

I suggest proof reading the override plugin's header flags to make sure it has ESL flagged (I like to use both the ESL and ESM flags as that works very well, fyi).

If it's genuinely ESL flagged you might need help from a Loot/Vortex expert to explain why it's trying to tell you the load order matters on an ESL.  If it's not ESL flagged, then you can fix it and resolve the issue :)

What i can see is that the HN66EasyGirl esp doesn't have esm esl flags, the Servitron esp has just esm. I don't know if that means anything or not.

If I remember correctly, EasyGirl was created in 2017 before Bethesda had ESL flags, so it makes sense it's a traditional ESP. That's also fine for this. If Servitron is a pure ESM, that's also fine. Both should be capable of being masters to your ESL-flagged override plugin. And the load order of an ESL-flagged plugin genuinely should not matter. So you really probably do need help from a Vortex expert (if Loot is Vortex) to find out why it's trying to force a load order on an ESL-flagged plugin :)

I fucked around and found out using thekites VTS and I think I ended up with the male vault suit apearing when the servitron equips the slavesuit. Needless to say I'm lost AF and my tiny monkey asks that someone makes a video tutorial so I can monkey see monkey do

in game you can change the sex of the automatron using console command. Find the ref id of the automatron turned servitron then add this ".sexchange" and they should turn female

Upon changing, disable and enable the NPC in console and you should be good to go.
