TCND: EX [Free Version] is out for everyone!

(It's time to get my hands dirty!)

 

Teachers Pet: The Class Next Door (TP: TCND) is transitioning into The Class Next Door: EX (TCND: EX)

 

Overview:

Since day one, I have been saying that " Eventually, I will be changing the game mechanics to make it a free-roam experience with repeatable events."

"Eventually" has arrived; TCND: EX is the sandbox version of my game.
It is not a new game with the same characters; you can consider it a new season with many gameplay changes.

 

The story:

TCND: EX takes off after the events in TP: TCND
The MC is summoned back to where the story started; he learns that he has been there before, but things didn't go well, and he has been brought back to try again.

But there is a catch; the MC doesn't remember most of what happened during TP: TCND.
He only knows that something is wrong with his ex-wife.

The MC cannot remember what happened or the people he met during his first try, but now he can jump between parallel timelines. He can remember what happens in each of the new timelines, but his feelings and mindset change every time he jumps.

He turns into the version of himself living the given timeline.

 

The gameplay:

In TCND: EX players can follow multiple routes in a single gameplay.
Business days start with going to work; the MC is a college teacher, there will be events playing during classes, recess, lunch-time, and after classes.
There are places you can visit to advance time; there will be events in other locations, the day ends with going to bed or switching routes.
Weekends have different dynamics; there are events only available during the weekends.
The active route dictates which events are available; route-specific events will only occur if players follow the given girl's route.

Download the file called "Nisha's report" it is a simple text file that will guide you from start to end.

Today I'm releasing TCND: EX episode 3.

In episode 3 we will learn more about Alice, Emerald, Emily, and Mrs. Smith.
I boosted Daria's, Laura's, Miss Evans', and Tiffany's lewd dreams; I simply added a few more renders to each dream to add a little more spice.
In this release I'm implementing a small vignette to identify dream sequences. In this episode you can find Tiffany watching TV and cooking; if you interact with her that will advance time.

 

Now you have the option to advance time interacting with Tiffany; maybe I should expand those interactions based on if players are following her route or not... that will be in future updates.

 

In a few days, I will be releasing a walk-through (as soon as I recover from the all-nighter I just put coding and troubleshooting this episode...)

Hey there, after an exhausting debugging session I managed to complete September's update.

In this update I extended Tiffany's night event; after improving your affection stat with her, you will unlock a new repeatable event with her. The new event requires stat progression and an item; make sure to buy some shower soap!

Joan's repeatable event also got a boost. I added a new interaction with Melanie in the hotel; you will find her there during the weekends.

The events in episode eight start the next day after the events in episode seven. Here is the log:

Yeah, today is September 15 and that means mid-month release!

Let me take this opportunity to tell you a little about my plans to use Genesis 8.1 for all of my G8 characters; yesterday, I was fine-tuning Daria, Emily, and Tiffany; there are many details that need to be edited and those details change from character to character.

 

After a couple of hours making changes, I was able to save scene subs-sets for Daria, Emily, and Tiffany; I will be working on the rest of the G8 girls soon.

Some of you may be wondering what kind of changes I did to the G8.1 characters; well, I adjusted eye positions, added dform modifiers to the tears, and adjusted a few proportions that were off.

 

Alright, I should get back to work; doing the game-night/sleepover will be very complicated.

Yeah, today is the 15th and that means it is time to release the last episode for tier 2 subscribers (and up.)

You will find an updated walkthrough along episode nine; you will also find plenty of the gamesaves across the game; just download the gamesaves file and extract in your game folder.

 

As always, I'm working long days getting the next episode ready; episode 10 will need many more renders than usual... the game night/movie night will split into five routes. Renders take an average of 2 hours each; and then, I have to add the time I spend doing scene setup, adjusting, and fine-tuning... a full-time working day can produce 3 or 4 renders and I will need 200+ renders for episode ten... it gets scary when you add the real-world factor; don't you think?

I forgot to mention that I enabled rollback, and forward, for the active event; that means that you can use the rollback function inside the current event you are looking at. Each and every event in the game is encapsulated to allow rollback functionality. Notice that you can't rollback to past or future events.

Yeah, today is the 15th and that means it's time to release the last episode for tier 2 subscribers and up.

 

Let me take this opportunity to give you a little progress update; I finished Emily's lewd dream and I giving her a little more story progress than usual. I'm also working on Daria's lewd dream and soon it will be time to work on her story.

 

It seems like Tiffany and Emily are up to something; I guess they want to give you a Christmas present... I guess we will have to wait and see.

Tiffany and Emily have a present for my subscribers.

The girls found a [Prototype] build I made and they want to release it...

 

TCND: EX2 is a new "The Class Next Door: EX" entry; this is how it works...

 

-Linear gameplay with multiple choices; pick your own poison.
-Lewd dream selection menu; chose a lewd dream at night.
-Main events include all available routes; see route related events one after another.
-Daily routine; players will wake-up, go to work, be back home and that will be a day.
-Day specific events; repeatable events will only occur on a given day.
-Set the girl's age; yeah, now you can specify how old they are (within reason.)
-Set Tiffany's relationship to the player.

 

I should mention that TCND: EX2 is made with Ren'Py 8 which uses Python 3.
The game will start with asking players for their name and Tiffany's relationship to the player;

then, it will ask what is the girl's age;

and then, it will ask about unlocked routes.

Players can choose to unlock all routes or just a few.

 

This release includes events from the gamenight up to TCND: EX's episode 11.

TCND: EX episode 11 is now out for tier 1 subscribers.
