korbe Posted February 2, 2022 Posted February 2, 2022 So should i remove all the mods listed on the last clean exceptions page? those are all the mods that aren't working right?

The mods that are mentioned in an exception are the ones that are affected by the issue, but not necessarily the ones causing it. Â For example, if you try to use the most recent version of Nisa's Wicked Pervs with a severely outdated version of WickedWhims and the latest game version, both mods will show up. Wicked Pervs will be there because it fails to load properly, as it depends on WW (which is outdated). WW will be there because it's outdated and doesn't work with the latest game version. In both cases, your outdated WW is the culprit and the only mod you should need to deal with. Â And, as always, remember to delete "localthumbcache.package", found in "Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 4" when making any changes to your Mods folder.
korbe Posted February 2, 2022 Author Posted February 2, 2022 it looks like mostly clothes mods. so some on the list may still be working in game? so this doesn't actually help figure out the issues, ugh why is sim modding backwards? ugh

For CAS-related stuff like clothes or sliders, I'd recommend the 50/50 method or similar approaches, because that allows you to eliminate conflicts and duplicates as well.
