I have a strange problem. Missing text and WW is sad with no explanation

So I have encountered a problem today. I decided to get Discover University and Island Living because they are discounted. I've started a brand new save file. When starting out I noticed a lot of text was missing from things (like when making a new sim and going into likes/dislikes in CAS most of the options had the icons, but not the text (for example the eye color option showed the icon on top, but it does not say eye color below that). This strange missing text problem persists in a lot of random places, like when two sims try to have sex with each other and you get the dialogue window pop-up, every option is a blank bubble.

 

At the beginning of the game session, I get a Wicked Whims error in an orange box on the notification wall saying Wicked Whims is Sad   but there's no text saying what's causing it and when checking the error log files the last one created was from a few days ago, before all of this started happening.

-Snowy Escape, Discover University, Island Living, Get Famous, Seasons, Cats+Dogs, City Living, Get Together, Get to Work

-Realm of Magic, Strangerville, Vampires

 

I have double-checked my scripted mods. They are all up to date

MCCC 2021.4.1

Cinerotique TV Premium Adult TV Channel 6.0.2

 

I also verified the game file integrity (steam)

 

Attached a few screenshots as well as my most recent last ui exception file. None of my other exception text files are more recent than the first week of January when the game was working fine.

 

Honestly not looking forward to doing a mod purge and/or reinstall. Hopefully I don't have to but I don't really know where to start fixing this.

Possibly UICheats needs updating or maybe a TMex mod.

 

Make sure you don't have any duplicate copies of Wicked Whims hiding somewhere as OneDrive can restore mods you've deleted/updated.

 

I'd try testing with WW + Animations and MCCC only with everything else removed first.

Don't make any new saves just exit when done testing.

 

Look in your Saves folder for the Wicked Saves and move it to desktop.

Delete you localthumbcache.pkg and test again.

Sorry, this is YEARS late...But yes, I found that out the hard way myself. That's why I have come to have a *STRONG DISLIKE* for OneDrive. I won't use it for anything Sims-related or my regular files.
