Shizune Posted June 20, 2013 Posted June 20, 2013 Is there a way of assigning certain body and face textures to your character? I've been trying to change only my PC's face textures and let NPCs use vanilla.

lordofthedread Posted June 21, 2013 Posted June 21, 2013 Any custom race with their own textures and / or meshes folders will allow you to do just that. this include (but not only) Temptress, Nigheim, Ashen, Lunari.....
Shizune Posted June 22, 2013 Author Posted June 22, 2013 Will changing the race from Nord to YgNord alter my character in any way? Do NPCs react to YgNord race as to normal Nords (phrases like "kinsman" or "fight like a Nord")?
lordofthedread Posted June 22, 2013 Posted June 22, 2013 YgNord has its own textures and meshes folder, changing the race during your gameplay will fuck up your stats and it is not recommended. I have no idea how NPC will react as I never played this race.
neo_weiner Posted June 23, 2013 Posted June 23, 2013 YgNord is a clone of the Nord Race, so NPCs should react the same way, but like lordofthedread posted, changing races mid game will mess it up.
leddis3 Posted June 23, 2013 Posted June 23, 2013 Changing race can mess up some things, but you can usually clear this up by using the console to manually change race, i.e. player.setrace highelf and then back to yours.

No support for heads/faces? Well that's entirely pointless for me then. *sigh* Edit 2: Editception: Oh I'm stupid, it does have support for vampire heads at least, so that's something.

Support for vanilla race heads is added with an optional file, it's in the download list. It's called "Head Extended Plus 2" or something like that.
leddis3 Posted June 25, 2013 Posted June 25, 2013 Well it seems it just won't work together with Enhanced Character Edit, the vampire heads won't show up and the hair gets messed up. Such a shame. If anyone happens to know of a workaround please let me know
