Ok, I might need some help here.

After tweaking these piercings in Outfit Studio and somewhat aligning them properly, they still float and seems like ignoring bounce physics.

Were applied during Submissive Lola quest and cannot be removed (only hidden through BodySlide), so I'd really want to make this device work.

What could I be doing wrong? Have other piercings and they work as needed.

Maybe some DD conversion or HDT patch?

Using CBBE, Enhanced Fetish custom preset, HDT physics, Devious Devices SE (ini says "version 5.0")

You need to delete all bone weights from the mesh and then copy bone weights from whatever body you are using. The piercings are floating because they have different weights than your body.

How do I do that?

Copied Bone Weights, exported _01.nif and they still float rigidly in the air.

In the top right corner, next to the tab that says meshes, is the bones tab. Make sure you have the piercings selected in the meshes tab, then go to the bones tab, select all of the bones, then right click and select delete from shapes. Now you can copy bone weights from the body.

Make sure the body is the one you are actually using in the game. You can change this by going to file > load reference.

1. Loaded reference from Data/Meshes/Actors.. femalebody01.nif (that;s the one in use, correct?),

2. Loaded outfit (PiercingsN_01.nif or something like that), highlighted both shapes (gem and rings).

3. Tabbed to bones and after selecting everything right clicked and picked "deleted from selected shapes".

4. Tabbed over back and right clicked and picked "copy bone weights".

5. Exported to nif with reference (replaing the original).

Nothing changed.

You might also need to conform the sliders to fit your body. It should be on the bar at the top, sliders > conform all. This may distort the mesh a bit depending on your settings but should make everything fit. Also, do not export the nif with reference unless the nif is supposed to include the full body. If the clothes are using slot 32 then you should include the reference.

I'll try it tomorrow, thanks.
