slonez1 Posted December 31, 2021 Posted December 31, 2021 Finally, after maybe 20 hours I've moved to SSE and so far it's going well. However, all of my DD meshes are working except tail plugs. I had to go back from 3bbb to CBBE (Physics) since DD doesn't seem to have that bodyslide type. No Matter. One problem I'm having now, that I'm really stumped on is that my tail plugs (SLUTS, DD, Toys, Followers, Etc) are all below my feet, and animate and seem to work fine, except that I can't for the life of me figure out how to fit them back on my body! If anyone has a guess as to what causes this (I had a similar issue in LE with shields and DSR), and eventually figured that out, but I just can't seem to guess this one. Any guesses are great, I'd be happy to share my modlist or whatever if you think that will help. But, I'm hoping someone with a bit more knowledge will just be able to say "oh, yeah, you're doing X wrong". Cheers
myuhinny Posted January 1, 2022 Posted January 1, 2022 Are the mods from LE or SE? LE mods need to be converted to work with SE. If DD is devious devices you have to build everything in bodyslide using the body your using for them to work.

DD mod is meant for SSe and I've run it through bodyslide and FNIS.
Umbopo65 Posted April 26, 2024 Posted April 26, 2024 I know this is an old thread but here goes. I have down loaded Skyrem SE a couple of months ago and have been modding for that time, All the mods are up to date and I have the SLUTS resume down loaded and all the requirements, I found the Tail plugs and put them in Bodyslide and I have done a batch build with them and they appear in game, just in the floor. Everything else for this mod works fine, the livery, harness, bridle and cart (having trouble with the magical heating bit) but the tails are in the ground. I looked in outfit studio and the plugs appear to be in the right height above the ground there. Having read other posts on this issue I believe I have covered all the areas that people raise as potential issues. If anyone has solved this, I would appreciate the solution as I have exhausted all the potential error points I can think of.

Pretty much all Tail mods require an SMP mod such as, FasterSMP https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/57339 Without that mod, SMP items and bodies appear to sink into the floor. Just as you described with your tail. Since you did not link the mod I have to assume its an SMP enabled tail. Wont work properly without the linked mod. 1

Thanks Gameplayer, I appreciate the you taking the time to respond. I went to the link and followed the rabbit hole of required mods and down loaded them all, one of them also had a guide of sorts that I think I'll need to read, and I have no idea of load order for the new mods. It didn't work, so maybe I need to start a new game, I'm only level 2 so it's hardly an issue. I'll restart now. Thank you again mate.
Gameplayer Posted April 28, 2024 Posted April 28, 2024 Post a link for your tail mod, I'll have a look at it tomorrow.
Jeffzs113 Posted March 3, 2025 Posted March 3, 2025 Alguém conseguiu resolver o problema das caudas presas ao chão ?

It's up to you to use your modding utilities to inspect your own setup for these issues: You may have XP32 skeleton installed, but is it the one currently in use or is it getting overwritten by something else? Is it the most recent version? Did you open the skeleton file your character uses to make sure the skeleton has the bones your tail uses? Same deal with FSMP, its probaly installed but is there a mod overriding it? Which mod is providing the physics preset for the tail? Do you have another mod with a physics preset that affects the same tail nodes? Are these physics presets made correctly? Do the nodes in the preset match the tail nodes in the skeleton and the tail mesh you're using? ...and so on. Edited March 3, 2025 by traison
