Skyrim SE Keeps Crashing

Ok, I'm having yet another issue on Skyrim SE with the AE upgrade, I have no idea what I'm doing. I've watched all the videos and think I followed all the step by step installation instructions, but I've never modded a game before and just started trying to mod Skyrim SE a few days ago. The game launches fine but crashes within the first minute every time. If I cast one of the sex-related illusion spells, the game crashes immediately. I'm also having an issue with Rosa Round-Bottom. When I tell her to follow me, she says that I already have a follower even though I don't. I used to have Inigo but disabled him. That didn't help so I deleted Inigo completely, but Rosa still says I already have another follower. My plugin load order is shown below; this is right after running loot in MO2. Thanks in advance.

Can you run SexLab and Flower Girls at the same time?  I thought they conflict?

Since you're using MO2 (I do too) I strongly suggest following this guide, or at least checking it against your setup.

Did you run LOOT to sort your load order and check for errors?  Also, did you use the "Sort" button on the Plugin list on the right side of your MO2 screen?

I don't know some of your mods but your Load Order doesn't look right to me.  Why would your mods start at "Priority 79"...do you have 78 mods above it?  If so, that's going to break your game if main files are loading after a bunch of other mods.

I don't know enough to say for certain but LOOT can help.  Also, check the conflicts in MO2 (the 2nd column in your mod list to the right of the mod name).  Conflicts takes some knowledge to know which mods should overwrite others, but you'll want to learn that if you're going to use very many mods.  The guide above and the download page for many mods will tell you if there are specific load order requirements.  For example, you have no body mod like CBBE or UNP that many mods require, but if you did they would need to be high in your load order.

Also, this is going to be a problem.  I defer to others if they correct me, but I don't think SE and AE play well together yet.  I mean that most SE mods are not going to work well with AE yet, and AE compatible mods may not all work with SE.

If you're new to modding, or modding Skyrim, and you're jumping into AE just weeks after it was release then you're going to run into almost daily changes/updates/compatibility changes that are going to be over your head.  (They're over mine, for sure).

I would suggest using the downgrade patch to bring your Skyrim files back to the SE version.  If you downloaded Skyrim or your game updated in the past 2 months, you are running AE.  SE modding is pretty clearly established over years to work so is pretty stable.  AE is chaos.  You don't want chaos when you're just getting started, you'll likely just drown in frustration.

Yes, I used the sort button and a loot window popped up with results. My mods start at 79 priority because the first 78 are parts of the upgrade. Mostly creation club stuff and all categorized as "Non-MO." They're faded grey on the plugins list and the mods side doesn't have boxes next to them to disable. I believe the SE mods I downloaded mentioned that they had been updated for the AE upgrade, but I could be wrong about that too.

I purchased the AE version and downloaded it last week, I just wasn't sure if I needed to specify that it downloaded SE and then automatically downloaded the AE/creation club upgrades when I ran the game for the first time.

Make sure and run the LOOT application, launched from MO2 , as well.  The sort button above the plugins does just that - sorts your plugins.  Running the LOOT application will sort your mod load order.  You'll want to do both, just to be clear.

OK, I don't think that would be a problem.  I don't use creation club stuff, so I didn't think about that.

They may be, you can double check the compatibility thread as well.  But even if they are updated, there still be lots of instability as modders are trying to get things running on AE and are basically live-testing bugs along with mod users.  Pretty much everyone is figuring this out as they go since it's only been a few weeks since all this happened.

At this time there's lots of confusion over who is using AE and who is using SE, especially in the technical support threads.  It's probably better to provide more information over the next few months whenever you have questions.

AE is an SE with an up to date exe  :  what is called SE is skyrimSE.exe version 1.5.97 , and AE is skyrimSE.exe version 1.6. . . . .  ( still updating ).

cc mods are a way to promote there things ( they wanted to do so much their paid mod site ! )  .

if you want you can remove one or all cc mods :  they are in the game folder skyrim . . ./Data/  all flies with cc..something.esm /  .esl  /  .bsa .

you copy them to a folder outside ( for backup )  than you can delete them or make a ' cc mods ' folder and you slide them inside the new folder .

they will disappear completely from your Load Order .

Are you sure LOOT sorts your mods? If that is the case why does it only have a plug-in list?

Maybe I am wrong.  I just thought the "sort" button in MO2 for the plugin list was different than running the LOOT application.  I assume doing both won't hurt anything.

No, it's just pointless. I don't use MO but as I understand things, the mods are arranged manually.
