Could anyone convert this hair? (child to adult)

Hey everyone!

I've been trying to convert this hair (the edited version, obviously) for adult female sims. It didn't seem THAT difficult so I tried following some tutorials but TSRW is the worst piece of sh*t ever and throws me an "Index out of matrix bound" error whenever I try to import the hair.

After a few hours of complete desperation, here I am

I really wanted to make this myself but I'm just useless lol if anyone is bored and wants to try it I'd reeeeally appreciate it!!

If you've already had some experience looking at these object files, might I suggest just taking the original adult hair which will fit - no 'conversion' - and remove the 'spikes' yourself?

I've also tried that but I just don't know enough about making CC to do it. I'm still trying, looking up tutorials and videos, but figured I'd just post the request in case anyone would like to try and save me the headache. It doesn't hurt to ask, right?

I have something similar from Plumdrops here, but don't remember which page. She has a lot of hair files. There are also a lot of "other" pics mixed in, so you need patience when going thru them all. 

 

I also have one by Cazy on TSR that is similar.
