Script triggers 11415 Papyrus errors

I'm getting 11415 lines of this in my Papyrus log:

 

WARNING: Property ArmorShield on script WeaponRackTriggerSCRIPT attached to  (000977B8) cannot be initialized because the script no longer contains that property

 

Each line has a different Property, ArmorShield, DA13Spellbreaker, etc.  And that is not an exaggeration, 11415 lines, I'm assuming one for each object that could potentially be put in a weapon rack.

 

Any idea how to fix this?

It's not just that one.  There are over 1000 lines, and the "attached to" number isn't the same on all of them.  It's more like the script is damaged, but I can't repair it because Steam would update me to AE and break even more things.

I thought you meant that it was this line doing it 11415 times.

 

Have you tried a new game?

Have you tried cleaning the save?

 

If you are on LE you wont get 'updated' to AE. If you are on SE then you are in the wrong place. ?

Sorry, should have been clearer.

 

I did consider that it might be one weapon rack acting up, but it appears to be a bunch (all?) of them, which leads me to believe it is the script.

 

It doesn't happen on a new game.  Well I only let it run as far as the intro cart ride, but it the error doesn't show up.

You could try going to somewhere with a weapon rack just to see what happens.

 

Do you think that if some one sent you the script that it would help things?

I did, rack functioned correctly.  Immersive College of Winterhold, Archmage Quarters.  This is actually one of my suspect mods, I just need to clean out anything I have stored there before I disable it.

 

And... maybe?  WeaponRackTriggerScript.pex, and WeaponRackTriggerScript.pex to be safe.

You seem to have read the same post as me?

 

I'm on LE and those two files aren't in my scripts folder so they are either in the bsa or are from a mod.

SE.  And yes, I tested a weapon rack and was able to stick a sword in it, have it appear, and then take the sword back.

 

The scripts are in my script folder, so not in a BSA.  I did a search on my Vortex mods folder and the script is not coming from a mod.  So has to be included with the vanilla game.

That was me saying it might help if someone sent me the scripts.  Those two scripts.

WeaponRackTriggerScript is a "vannila" script. Its part of Skyrim. This script does not contain properties ArmorShield, DA13Spellbreaker.

 

Its a very buggy script.

 

Unofficial skyrim patch also contains WeaponRackTriggerScript. Its does contain property ArmorShield. But it does not contain DA13Spellbreaker. Well, atleast not my version of USP.

 

If your install can't find property ArmorShield inside WeaponRackTriggerScript, then you dont have Unofficial skyrim patch installed. Or you have old version. Or something is overwriting it.

 

I'd also say, that you have a mod(.esm, .esp) that wants a special version of WeaponRackTriggerScript. The one, that not only has ArmorShield property, but also DA13Spellbreaker(and etc) property.

I have the latest version of the Unofficial Patch that doesn't require AE, version 4.2.5. 

 

Ok, tried reinstalling the Patch to see if that fixed things, nope.  No idea.  The only mod I'm using that goes anywhere near a weapons rack is Immersive College of Winterfell, and it doesn't touch that script.  I guess my next move is to get all my stuff out of the Archmage quarters and then uninstall ICOW.

 

If that doesn't work, well, then I guess I go through the hassle of letting Steam repair files, then run the downgrader again.

Nope, didn't fix it, but did speed up game load time lol

 

I guess it's time to Steam it, downgrade, and hope things continue to work.

Last time I had this many errors was because of some "better breeze home" mod. Any mod that adds or "improves" homes or buildings.

 

I do not have WeaponRackTriggerScript.pex in data\Scripts folder. Don't have to, because correct one is in one of skyrims or USP .bsa archives.

Maybe I'll just delete it, let the one from the unofficial patch do the work.
