Char Creation Screen Freeze

when i hit "C" to remove clothes in body edit the game freezes. this only started recently.

 

 

these are the mods i installed recently. i tried disabling them but it still happens. any ideas?

1) dont use mods untill leaving vault

2) dont use C in looksmenu if you dont have latest looksmenu

oh - i'm using older looksmenu bc of AAF. gotcha thanx

That's totally fine, you can use the older looksmenu, I'm using it was well.

 

One way to do this is to start the game with just the bare bones enabled, which for me is unnoficial patch and start-me-up.  I have a preset that I already created before with just looksmenu enabled so I just go with plain Nora until I get to Sanctuary.  Then I enable all my mods, and use "slm 14" to bring up my preset.  You can also use tfc I think to toggle free camera and tweak things.  If you get stuck in T-Pose when you hit Done, just long press V to enter workshop and should fix it.

 

The main thing is that having all your mods enabled in  "pre-war" sanctuary can cause issues  (example, physics + body mods make it look like character stretching).  Wait till you get to post war Sanctuary, or if using alternate start anywhere that's after the first pre-war scene and then save / exit, enable mods and go back in.

i'm just using the console command "unequipall". they are nekid going into the vault but who cares. they give out free jumpers anyways lol
