devious devices conflicts with cbbe body enhancer, who do people still use it?:

When cbbe body enhancer is installed, devious devices makes all character's bodies invisible. This is a known bug that has not been fixed in a while. Why do people still use devious devices? It is still a often downloaded mod even though it basically just does not work in most modded games. Why do people put up with it?

Does not work for me or for most other people. Unless you have a different download than this site has, you are mistaken.

If the bodies are invisible, sounds like you have not used Bodyslide correctly. Try doing that.

I did. Here, I will upload some screenshots. Again, this is an issue with a lot more people than just me, and has been going on a while, I dont know why you are insisting this works when many people have clearly seen that it does not.

 

Image 1 is my wabbajack install, fairly straight forward. was the phoenix flavor as a base, then modified from there.

 

Image 2 is the phoenix flavor contents, I launch mod manager from here, exactly like I and many other people have done a million times

 

Image 3 is where I run bodyslide from, since you seem to think this is somehow a body slide issue

 

Image 4 is just the bodyslide window, again this is clearly not a bodyslide issue, but just to be clear I included it. Run batch build, like every other time

 

Image 5 is the invisible body, still present despite the game working in every other aspect. Again, not just a me problem, and it has been that way for a while. Why dont you enlighten me on how your particular install somehow behaves differently?

Not knowing how to use required mods and programs is not a bug.

 

The screenshots you include show BS has some groups selected. Unless you have the DD groups selected there doing a batch build won't solve your issue.

(image showing groups all checked) You were saying? Everything is selected, just like every other time. and again, when I uninstall cbbe, it works fine. I checked with a few people, they have had the exact same result. Are you downloading your version somewhere other than this site, because this is a very straightforward problem to understand and I do not understand your inability to admit that devious devices is just plain glitched.

I can install it and get it working with no issue. I've always been able to do so. Unless there is a recent issue that affects every user, this is on you. And if it's the first case you should use the support thread for the mod in question.

 

And yeah, you had the DD group selected now I can see it, oh big gotcha moment. Now I can also see you have groups for both CBBE and UUNP which is not something you should be dealing with, given the fact you're struggling to make DD work with CBBE alone. Good luck with this, I hope someday you finally make it work or move on, there are resources out there to learn how to use the tools and mods in question.

This is like complaining that your apple mac software won't run on your windows pc. Ofcourse the UUNP Deviously Cursed Loot items will be invisible with CBBE I use CBBE and Devious Devices fine because I installed CBBE compatible Devious Devices.
