Does Your AEP Mod Work?

Trying to place an AEP Photo Studio lot - when I do, the "in a flash photo studio" object does not show up in build mode.  When I remove the AEP Photo package/script, the problem is corrected and the "In the Flash Photo Studio" object becomes available to be selected.  Which leads me to believe that AEP is broken as I downloaded the latest patreon version from July but no idea if there was another update more recently or not.

Kindly advise if the mod itself is broken or if there's another mod that might be the culprit of causing the In a Flash Photo Studio to not show up in the build mode.

Thanks.

I'm using the latest public version of the mod and all of the photography stuff from various packs (backdrops, cameras etc.) shows up in Build mode just fine.

To find out, whether another mod is interfering with AEP, simply remove all other mods from your game temporarily and delete "localthumbcache.package", found in "Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 4" (always do this when making any changes to your Mods folder or the game itself). Then, launch the game and check Build mode for your missing stuff. If it still doesn't show up with AEP in your Mods folder, you can try to repair the game via Origin/Steam, and if that also doesn't help, your version of AEP is probably broken (try the public one in this case).

If, on the other hand, everything works smoothly with only AEP and no other mods, you can gradually add all of your other mods back into the game and test them (using 50/50 or similar methods). I recommend starting with a bunch of very popular mods like WickedWhims and MC Command Center for some quick progress early in the process. This is also where a well-organized Mods folder comes in handy.

thanks - as i mentioned, i noticed that when i pulled the AEP mod, that's when the flash studio would show up again in the build mode, so Ill give the public version a shot and see if that corrects the issue.  When you have 61 gigs of mods to go through, it's a little tedious starting blind especially if the mod itself is broken and all that work is for nothing.  But glad to know that the mod works and that the culprit remains.
