Kodiak Posted June 13, 2013 Posted June 13, 2013 I'm all for a new Battlefront title. I have never fully trusted EA though in any of their ventures. Before everyone blows a load over everything, take a moment to look at the going trends of MMO shooters. Pay to Win models. I have no doubts that they will, at the very least, mimic the SOE Planetside 2 model with their own tweaks. EA has already stated that they plan in instituting micro-transactions to many of their titles. Its just the way things are trending currently. Don't have time to grind the credits or xp to unlock that 5-Barrel Rocket Shotgun you always wanted? For just 2000EA points you can have it now! I guess my point is, be careful what you wish for and don't expect it to be like the good old days of BF1 and 2.

We'd also have to make it so all the heroes from the last battlefronts all got in a ship together, flew off of the end game planet, crashed, and then had a memorial for the player's heroic death. And remember, no closure!
