divingmedic Posted November 30, 2021 Posted November 30, 2021 So I had a run a few errands this morning, came back fire up Sims 4 and it had an update. Did the update and was given a message that all mods disabled. But there is a solution. Disable the mods and re-enable them and they come back. Thought I would just give this info out. Also thanks to all those that mod the game.
deekush69 Posted November 30, 2021 Posted November 30, 2021 Its supposed to happen. Nothing out of the ordinary.

Sineadtanibata76 Posted November 30, 2021 Posted November 30, 2021 Turn auto updates off until mods are updated for future refrence.
snowdog04 Posted December 1, 2021 Posted December 1, 2021 Yup, unless the update is super minor, they turn off your mods. This patch seems to be surprisingly easy on mods, usually you'll need to update a lot of them. And this is why Maxis turns them off-- so you don't load up your game and find a bugged out mess. And then without thinking Save and Exit, and now you've borked your save.
