How to change NPC outfit without additional mods

As the title suggests, how to change an NPC's outfit permanently . 

In review, I used the NPC Ysolda, from the Ladies of Whiterun mod . You will find it with the classic citizen suit. After these instructions, she will have the dress of your choice

 

  These steps will force you to have the custom dress mod . If it were a dress that you already have in use, this problem does not exist

 

Open TES5Edit, Right click , Select none , import the mod of the chosen NPC . Scroll the list to DOFT Default Outfit

 

The dress worn will be shown here .

To change it to a custom one, you will need to add strings . 

Here, the detailed compilation guide  How to add parts in the armature Follow the instructions of TES5Edit . As mentioned before, if you are using a custom suit, the other steps will not be needed . If you will be using a suit to spawn, follow this entire guide

 

After completing the compilation of the additional strings, right click on the ESP, select Add / OTF Outfit

Here, you can fill in the way that suits you best . It will only serve to change the NPC's outfit

After the various compilations, go to the NPC you have chosen , and change the dress string . Right click, select Edit change the ID to the one you just created

To add other parts (shoes, gloves and / or other), repeat the compilations, adding them to the Outfit . It is possible to add what you want, the ID of the Outfit will be read
