A bug that didn't go away a year later

Hello everyone, I know I'm unlikely to get an answer, just like in other forums. A year ago I had this error that I still can't solve. I downloaded the sims and played for a long time, after a long break I forgot that I had my own build on my computer and downloaded another one, after installing a new one I remembered that there was an old one and just deleted the folder without the auxiliary file that was in the folder with the game through which they usually delete. After that, the problems started, the sims don't have so many mudlets, they are always gray and stupid, the game itself works strangely, with a huge number of mods, the game loads in a minute when it used to load for ten minutes with less, it doesn't work correctly due to incorrect deletion in the past and to all this the presence of two versions of sims on the same computer. I do not know how to solve it, I cleaned the registry and reinstalled Windows, nothing helps. I do not know if this is a firewall, but I don't think so either. I hope that there will be people who will help solve this problem.

First of all it's impossible to install two Legal versions of Sims 4 on the same computer as both the Origin and Steam Clients remember what you have installed already.

 

So the only way is by downloading cracked games and LL forum rules don't allow helping with pirated games.

Not having the money to buy something doesn't justify piracy. You just simply go without or save up your money and buy stuff when it's on sale.

As Scorpio mentioned, assisting with cracked games is against the rules around here.

Most of us here didn't try to buy all the DLC's at one time but over several years a few at a time only during holiday sales.

CDKeys often has sales for Sims 4 EP Pack Codes usually less than 50% off except for the latest Cottage Living Pack.

Black Friday Sales should be available right now or soon.

 

If you have MS Windows OneDrive installed it works like a Cloud Backup Service so it most likely put everything back you deleted or is trying to load 2 versions from the Cloud.

 

You should uninstall OneDrive using Windows Ad/Remove Applications, or whatever it's called, first.

Then check all your local drives again, and Documents, for leftovers and delete any found.

Then Log on to your Origin or Steam Account and Install your Paid Version again.

No problem as long as you have paid version installed.

Others here are also willing to help in this case also.

 

If I had to start over again after seeing all the Packs I have now I'd likely only buy a few I like best...

Get Together, Spa Day, Island Living, and maybe a few other Stuff Packs.

And maybe City Living.

I don't really need them all.

More game packs means more game bugs IMO.

There were some problems when I tried to delete onedrive with this, I deleted almost all documents from the computer, I couldn't restore important files, but okay, it's okay. I mean, I deleted everything successfully, but the sims also doesn't work, the characters are stupid and don't show mudlet.

Sorry I don't know what else to try because you broke it somehow.

 

What I would do is download, or Buy a Linux Live CD to boot from and wipe out your Hard Drive completely.

 

Or buy a new Hard Drive and replace the old one and start over and make sure you don't have OneDrive installed.
