Emily Posted June 7, 2013 Posted June 7, 2013 How does one work with tale of the two wasteland? Does a modder have to mount all F3+dlc and NV+dlc into NV.GECK to interchange and Swap npc, object, static, animation and dialogs between game? Can we put F3 item\critter Leveled List into NV leveled list? And vise versa? Are all scheduled packages interchangeable between games?

You download an installer that does it all for you, really. It takes a while, but you do need every single DLC from BOTH games in order for it to work. You can, yes. You can mod for TTW just like any other game, and TTW merges some stuff from both games so swapping things from wasteland to wasteland might even be easier. Probably. Essentially, TTW treats Fallout 3 like a DLC you can mod and alter and do whatever you want with. So, anything you can do with mods, you can do with Fallout 3.
Bashis Posted June 7, 2013 Posted June 7, 2013 EXCEPT mods that use fose, since ttw is using nv engine any fallout 3 mod with script extender funtions becomes a damn mess to convert and use, for non fose mods they have a conversion script you just run in nvedit to port fallout 3 mods to ttw mods.
Halstrom Posted June 7, 2013 Posted June 7, 2013 How does one work with tale of the two wasteland? TTW gets both NV and FO3 working together, if you only want one just install that one.
KainsChylde Posted June 7, 2013 Posted June 7, 2013 Once you have TTW installed, if you want to make a mod for it then use taleoftwowastelands.esm as your master.
