Cryo9 Posted October 28, 2021 Posted October 28, 2021 Just a bit of a preface: I did my best to look and see if others are having issues as well, or if there's a pre-existing thread about my issue and couldn't find one. So if there's a duplicate somewhere that I missed, I apologize. A bit of explaining: When beginning a scene with an NPC, the game will fade to black, unclothe the PC and NPC, then relocate us. Afterwards it freezes, and neither my character nor the NPC can move. The two excitement bars at the bottom left are shown but both are empty, and none of the action keys at the bottom left are shown. I did trust LOOT to sort and order things appropriately so if anything is wrongfully sorted, that could be why. I've tried turning off the bed search, I've already disabled the freecam, this happens when activating a scene both through the hotkey, through the oRomance menu, and oDefeat. coolfreaky Posted October 28, 2021 Posted October 28, 2021 - for the fade part i believe that in sexlab MCM in the animation settings just in the fade effect select ' never ' ( you can set it back anytime ) . - you can choose also the bed " ask for the bed use " select ' never ' . ( you can set it back any time after ) . your papyrus log , makes me wonder if you activated sexlab mod in MCM ( while in third view not in 1st person ) at all . and if you run LOOT ? . Also it seems that you have installed and removed some mods ( best is start a new game with alternat start or do a clean save with Falrim and do a back up before ) . i suggest you to follow a guide like this one : (v1.1.3) Mod Organizer 2 & Other tools - From zero to "Hey Sexlab is working!" - Skyrim: Special Edition - LoversLab ( if you do not already ! ) .
Cryo9 Posted October 29, 2021 Author Posted October 29, 2021 So I've gone ahead and remade a new character, double checked sexlab is activted, and nothing on LOOT is showing any errors. The issue is still happening. Whether I initiate a scene through oDefeat, oStim, or oRomance.

Also OSA/Osex/OStim and SexLabs are two different frameworks, they can be used in tandem in the same game but they do not interact with each other. You can use either one or the other for a given sex scene, but not both.

You can use either one or the other for a given sex scene, but not both. I could have sworn I saw all four having requirements somewhere but I could very much be wrong. I'm currently starting from scratch with my mods which will take some time, and will see if the issue still occurs after I'm done. As for the animations missing, that's what I thought. I downloaded another animation pack, and did use FNIS after each install - and after the issue happened just in case - and it persisted. Hopefully doing this full modpack recreation will prevent it from happening again. Thank you both for your help. If the problem crops up again in the future, I'll post back here with a new log file, mod list, and more details.
DaveM 116 Posted November 30, 2021 Posted November 30, 2021 You may always try the ` command = enableplayercontrols when screen goes black then back on and nothing is moving. If compass at top of screen is no showing = type in that command to bring control back to you. Especially if save does not end correctly and animation hangs.
