Skyrim Gay Edition - Which Mods do I need?

Recommended Posts

Hello Everyone, Gaymers and gay-friendly Gamers in Skyrim.

I'm trying to restart Skyrim after a long time. I know there are hundreds of articles here on what I'm looking for. But since I want to start the game this year without reading 5000 threads beforehand, I would like to ask if a nice Skyrim fan would like to help me.

I would like to play a gay male who is extremely good-looking and wearing sexy clothes and I want to fuck anything you can fuck in Skyrim. Those are the main points of my gaming behavior.

Who uses the mods from Vectorplexus / SAM - Shape Atlas for Men and in such a way that they work with SexLab?

Which mods could you recommend for gay adventures and who can help me to create a really handsome main character?

Here are a few examples of how I would like my hero

THANK YOU FOR HELPING A DESPERATE GAYMER

(Just joking. Sorry. I wish you luck in your search) ?

I don't have anything put together just yet as I'm starting back up again myself.

I'll send recommendations your way once I have a roll going.

@SomeoneForgetable

Hello and thank you very much for your support. If we both just start, we can talk about it here in the thread if you or I have problems with the configuration or find cool mods....

Pretty much anything found in this thread will help.

The same goes for all but two of so files on this site:

https://vectorplexus.com/

@FauxFurry

Thank you so much for that tip. The thread you mentioned is unfortunately 7 years old and refers to Skyrim LE. I start Skyrim SE and unfortunately many links in the old thread are dead or the mods are not available for Skyrim SE. I'll ask @Ixum if he's currently still playing Skyrim LE or Skyrim SE. But thank you very much for every tip and I will read the old thread completely.

In case it helps, this is a load order I've been using for months and it's pretty solid, and very sexy.
There are the occasional CTDs but they are few and far between.

I use a handful of older mods which work just fine under SE.
It's quite a fun load game with some interesting surprises :)

If you like I can give you some of the settings specific to individual mods
- just let me know.

It does benefit from a reasonably beefy GPU - but I used to run it just fine with a 7 year old radeon R9 290X 8GB (roughly the same performance as a GTX 1060 6GB).

Thanks for the help. I will study your load order this evening when I am at home. ?

in case it helps, as a starting point, I used most of the mods based on ultra-popular Twitch streamer ESO's high end mod list and included a load of favourite ones I had previously been using.

It's a really good idea use MO2, Loot and Wrye Bash to make sure the load order is viable.

ESO's list is here, with all the installation instructions, info about installing ENB etc.

https://eso-ui.com/skyrim-se-high-end/

Note:  This is for Skyrim Special Edition.

It's VITALLY important to prevent Steam updating the game, so only run it via the mod manager and SKSE, and set Steam to only update when the game is started through steam, AND disable Steam background game updates.

Bethesda have basically traded off of Skyrim for a decade on the basis of it being hugely popular for all kinds of diverse (and pornographic, and pervy) mods.
Now, for reasons best known to them - but in my cynical opinion, it's because they're attacking Nexus Mods and Loverslab et al to get everyone to use their own Creation Club (so they can monetize other peoples' work), they've just shafted the modding community, and not in a nice way by releasing an update which breaks everything.
It requires hundreds of thousands of mods to be updated for the new Skyrim game exe file.

See this thread for more info.

and this thread for more info about how to be able to keep using your favourite mods until some time in 2025 (or so) when all the most popular mods have been updated to work with the latest code.

I've played Skyrim LE and later Skyrim SE some years and for hundreds of hours. Over time, the CTD's came more and more often and at some point it crashed so often that I could not enjoy the game anymore.

That's why I try to reduce the amount of mods to a minimum and to focus on the gameplay and story. I want to have as many SexLab and Creature Sex mods as possible that do not conflict with each other and do not cause CTDs.

I want above all mods for M2M sex and other gay content, all kinds of creature sex and want to transform all women into futanaris.
If that would work without CTDs, I would be very happy. Unfortunately I already had my first CTDs yesterday and haven't installed many mods yet.

Are there any known mods that you have had bad experiences with and that are causing CTDs or do you know a good way to find out which mods are causing the CTDs?

I could not find SLAnimLoader.esp in your loadorder. Isn't it essential?

hmm - I just had a look - yup I don't run it - I wonder if it's soemthing from LE ?   I've been running this modlist, plus or minus a few other mods, for about a year though and it seems I've not needed it.  I do seem to remember having seen it in the past.

To be fair I've put my focus on the game being as beautiful and authentically nordic as possible, apart from the magic of course and the ramped up libidos.
There are loads of mods i.e. things like clutter, book covers, banners, doors, footprints, weather, water, trees, landscape, roads, sounds, magic overhauls, more NPCs and more interesting NPCs etc etc which you don't really need but which make the game really pretty and more entertaining.

I DON'T use SAM because it's too cussed awkward and doesn't play nice with too many other mods. I use a lot of the Pride of Skyrim mods because it makes a lot of the guys really cute, I forget which male body mods I have because it's been installed for so long - but it'll be whichever works best/was recommended for use with SOS.
I LIKE the SAM bodies but I found that by using them it restricted the mods I could use and made everything more complicated.

I like the becoming futanari WIP mod and related surprise equipment mod because it's fun - you can contract (or inflict) a disease which makes your cock shrink every time you have sex, voluntary or otherwise - and if it's with a female she gets what you lose or if with another guy, his cock gets bigger as yours shrinks. It works the other way if it's the other person who has the disease and you don't. For that reason I don't make all women Futanari, as it makes for a more entertaining gender instability.

Oakwood Gay Hamlet is very worthwhile.

I thought SLAnimLoader is necessary to load the animations to SexLab but I am no expert. SAM looks amazing but does not work with SexLab and Creature Sex for me. I would be very interested what your main character looks like.

Of course I would also like to have more beautiful and detailled weather, water, trees, landscape, roads and more, but I'm too afraid of crashing my game again.

apparently not.  Think it must be part of the main Sexlab ESM.  Not sure, but I've looked through a few old profiles and I don't see it anywhere.

My current game I'm playing as a Nord, with a bit og Reguard and Bosmer ('cause I think the spiky ears are cute).

I've snapped a couple of pictures outside Kynesgrove where my character happens to be at the moment altough is around 8pm so getting dark.  I play at 5120x1440 across two monitors so it's like half a screenshot.  The non-casting shot, I've brightened up in a photo editing app because it was way dark when viewed on the Windows desktop,

Your Hero is hot. His cock looks amazing, so real. Which Cock is that?

thanks, I'm very pleased with how he turned out - I didn't spent all that much time on creating him, a lot of it came from a preset which I just tweaked a bit.  That's the VectorPlexus Regular.  I don't use the SOS bodyslide because it breaks a couple of other mods, so I just use the size slider built into the SOS MCM configuration menu.

I'm looking into ways I can stream it for you to see how it looks/plays without getting banned for inappropriate content. That rules out Twitch, but maybe Discord or Google Hangouts will enable it.
