Voices for Sexlab

I've been through a number of mods looking for realistic voices for Sexlab, including Nusbies.

Frankly I've had enough of the silly 1970s porn-movie silly-moans crap, and wonder if anyone has released a more realistic and natural pack?

 

It's just voices and voice sounds, not other sound effects like foot getting stuck between mattress and bed frame stuff.

Making custom voice packs is actually very easy for yourself if you can use Audacity or follow a basic tutorial on YouTube on how to use it. You can use VLC to rip audio from any downloaded video to wav. Use Audacity to edit the sounds into short clips (1-3 seconds). Rename your clips to match the files in one of the voice slots. That should be all there is to it.

Thank you. My masculine voice might not go down so well for female NPCs.... ? which is what I was after! I should have mentioned that: it's the female voices I was wanting the improvement on, as I find them so abysmal.

 

I have actually ripped some audio for other sound effects but it is really difficult to find good stuff (without background noise and reverb, etc.)

You know what would be paradisaically ideal?  If some kind lady were to make a BYO voice pack for PC Player and Headtracking that included the normal conditional types of comments that usually come with that mod plus sex noises, and then some kind lady or gentleman modder were to modify or patch PC Player and Headtracking so that it would integrate with Sexlab for the sex noises,

 

That way you'd have a unified voice that had the same personality for normal chit chat and for sex sounds.

 

Bugger to do though, good voice recording requires a decently soundproofed environment (otherwise you get some stupid room sound with reverb tail cutoffs at the edit points - a problem with voices that are ripped from movies, etc.).  A full-on soundproofed studio (in down-time, late at night  ) would be ideal, but a reasonably "dry" room, or even outdoors in a big field (but no wind) would do.  The recording itself needn't be terribly expensive with modern gear either; decent, passable amateur recording quality is as cheap as chips these days (you have to pay through the nose for tinier increments towards professionalism, but a fair number of people in recent years have just used the "demo" version of their vocals that they recorded in their bedroom with minimal soundproofing because they were good enough quality-wise).

 this works with Sexlab SE without any problem, you dont need "Voice Files.rar", it is if you want to replace voices from other 2 mods if you get bored.
