[HELP] Odd boob behavior

The boobs of my followers are going weird during sex animations. It doesn't matter if it's a custom follower or not, they all are affected. I use SMP on any females following me. If I change to CBPC it doesn't happen. Fixed by switching to CBPC then back to SMP. But that's immersion breaking and quite annoying. You can tell by the pictures that the boobs are moving a lot. It gets real fuckin' bad. Please advise.

Also while I'm here, I may as well mention that the animations play in the ground a bit, as visible in the pics. I've tried different setting regarding heels, body size (I use a racial/gender size mod), and so on. The body resizing setting I'm using works fine without CTD's. I have it set to not remove heel data, because my female replacer has most women in heels now. It auto adjusts when boots/shoes are remove by animations. So you can see I've tried to be smart about this, but... Any suggestions on this?

has anything overwritten xp skeleton, try reloading it last, as far as the ground goes, it depends on the contour of the land, hills and such, try and make sure the ground is level

During installation of body mods (CBBE, BHUNP and 3BA) you can select how much body movement you want. Choose less movement.

 

Maybe you have a collision mod conflict between SMP, CBPC and HDT mods. Try to extract plugin list from mod organizer and post it here.

 

As stated in previous post. Vertical alignment of sex animations should work fine on flat surfaces, not on slopes.

@flutie if it was a skeleton issues, wouldn't it affect my character as well. I use SMP on my PC and don't have the issue.

 

@Shadowbroker3495 I chose the A setting, which is the least movement I believe. And the alignment issue occurs on any surface, level or not. Obviously more pronounced on slants... the pics aren't the best example admittedly for that issue.

This is a list of my merged mods in the My Armory mod I made, for posterity. But you can see by the date, it's been in their longer than I've had the issue. So I don't think it's from this.

You built Amazing Body + both PC and NPC collision detection cloak in BodySlide?

 

If you are using CBBE SMP mod, it is no longer needed. SMP included in CBBE 3BA mod.

 

dD - Realistic Ragdoll Force - Realistic.esp (can sometimes cause problems. Maybe try to temporarily disable mod and test it)

 

Try to post a mod list also (some mods don't have plugins + plugin names not always very informative about functionality)

Now this is catching my eye. I did recently install it, after realizing it wasn't packaged with XPMSSE. If it is this (and it quite possibly is), would there be a way to use the mod properly (different LO slot)? Or could I maybe set it up manually by adjusting something somewhere?

Yep, dead on right. This LO for them is necessary as I mention above. While I am a strict Wrye Bash user, I do open up MO2 to use LOOT (the standalone version won't recognize my (C:) install). My LO is primarily based on it's suggestions. Then I manually patch files as needed using a custom modified Bashed Patch.

Doesn't really make any sense. The CBBE mod will then overwrite body, hands and feet files. Why then even create a 3BA body with extra bones?

 

From Nexus site:

Above all, CBBE 3BBB mod and XPMSSE 4.66 should not be overwritten by other mods.

CBBE SMP mod is not required for CBBE 3BA mod since version 2.0

Maybe not, but if I do it the other way around, I'm left with a normal CBBE texture and no special 3BA characteristics. honestly, I don't understand it myself, but that's what works for me. I'd think 3BA should overwrite CBBE. (except that CBBE is a dependency for 3BA, isn't it).Gave me problems early on when I couldn't figure out why I kept seeing a stock CBBE body.

The list I posted is a Wrye Bash "list mods" list, which only deals out esp names.. Plus the pic from MergePlugins, same thing. I can tell you any you don't recognize. But what is hard is all the non esp mods, like you said before. I'd have to dig thru my Installed SSE Mods archive that I've accumulated.

 

As far as the body, it hasn't given me any trouble until now. So apparently, it can be achieved through multiple ways.

 

I've just finished some research into the Ragdoll mod, and yes it seems that I should have paid better attention. It clearly states to not replace other skeletons with it's included skeleton. And to instead just use the plugin version. So I'll be reinstalling XPMSE shortly, and we'll see how it goes!

Okay so, I uninstalled the rag doll skeletons, reinstalled XPMSE (just for overwrite of rag doll skeletons). The odd boob behavior still exists, but again only for followers using SMP. The fact that it doesn't affect my pc is kinda befuddling. I thought for sure this would solve things but nope.

 

On another note I uninstalled the CBPC mod I have, and as I thought it would, ALL CBPC movement stopped existing in game. So yeah, that's reinstalled too. But I do have this problem with nude bodies not having any CBPC boob movement. It works fine for outfits though. The other affected body parts, belly, butt, etc, work fine too. Just the boobs have no movement unless assigned SMP.

When i was talking about CBBE SMP, i was referring to the mod

SMP is included in CBBE 3BA mod + HDT-SMP mod. You need (and have) both mods. You also need CBPC mod (and you already have it), because CBBE 3BA mod offers different configuarations like full SMP, partial SMP and CBPC only. How did you configure SMP and CBPC during CBBE 3BA installation? Seems you did everything right, so It should be working.

 

There is also a mod called HDT-SMP XML. If you are using it, try to disable it.

 

I'm still baffled about the need in your setup to let CBBE standard body mod overwrite files from CBBE 3BA body mod. When a mod is required, it usually means to load required mods first. Goes against both recommendations on CBBE 3BA Nexus page and mod load order logic in general.

That is odd, but i think I understand why esp order doesn't matter in this case. They aren't actually dependent on each other. The install order is what counts in this case. Like putting in an outfit, then overwriting said outfit with a SMP conversion mod. The LO was LOOTS idea...

The body file is very important to get extra bones in 3BA body and thus 3BA body file should not be overwritten.

Yes those conflicts are present in my files too. But that is solved when making a custom body in Bodyslide. Maybe that's where I went wrong. I have always felt like I don't quite do it right... Even with a decent tutorial. I haven't figured out why the naked body doesn't have default CBPC physics. Is this not possible? I'd swear it was that way before. Odd thing is it will do either CBPC or SMP for outfits.
