Hidden Quiver

Anyone know how to make the quiver on the back of pc invincible? Ive read somewhere this:

 

"using NifScope open skeleton_female.nif that you got from XP32. (editing skeleton.nif won't do anything, or maybe it does if you play male) You will have hundreds of NiNode's, so first to make this easier press the small button with 2 arrows down (somewhere top middle of the screen) to collapse all the nodes.

Scroll down, to me about 80% down and look for the QUIVER [544] , for you number could be different. Then doubleclick scale and set it to 0.000001. Save file."

 

 

Will this work? But this is so poorly explained for me since im not that expierenced with Nifskope. If someone could explain it in nab language and the exact steps.

Yeah i know the racemenu option, but it doesnt completely hide the quiver. Thats why i wanted to try with the nifskope. 

 

An other option i have is to replace all the quiver textures in skyrim with invisible ones, but i dont know how to get those textures or how to add it.

No advice to solving your problem - but Auto Unequip Ammo is something to consider. You're at least rid of the darn thing when you're changing to a melee weapon (or magic)

 

To find the current textures you might need to unpack (that part of) the BSA archive. Or go looking for some replacer mod and replace those textures with your invisible ones... (Just rambling, never did so myself)
