[HELP] Can't mine, craft, sit...

I had the same problem getting kicked out of the crafting stations and even getting on a cart.  I could use the mill and forge.  Tried all the above methods until I tried this and it worked:

Press E to enter station, when starting animation, type “player.tai” in console.  Character will stay crafting until typing “player.tai” in console again.  Save me from restarting a level 70 character.

same issue... the only crafting stations I can use are forge and mill (can chop only one time but originally it should chop three times). I tried all above methods just like you. And your method works. Thanks bro.
But I still hope that can find out another way to fix it. just don't want to type command every time when I am crafting......

Someone mentioned the possibility their issue was associated with Defeat.

When in Defeat mode (ie you've been downed and "defeated"), to regain full control over your player, hit the Defeat defined hotkey for corrections (capital O by default) and use its menu to release your player from the defeat situation (I believe the entry to choose is "clean up"). This should unbind you and undo any lockouts Defeat has imposed.

Same issue here, Been through just about every fix I've found- no dice. thought I'd got it when I managed to get an ore vein to mine, but no such luck, and now I'm  losing all keyboard control on trying to use any crafting station. So far, in my testing, it seems to be tied to triggering SL scenes in general, though I'm not sure- long story short, I can reliably trigger the condition by activating part of Serana's Amorous adventures quest chain.

That said, there is no fix I've tried so far that solves the issue- resurrect/setplayercontrols, tai/player.tai, paralysis, sleeping, the short-circuit of an animation... nothing. Will try another couple ideas and report back.

Edit: It's not all crafting stations- I can use smelters and forges (and anvils) just fine. However, I cannot mine, use alchemy or enchanting stations, use tanning racks, grindstones, or workbenches at all. It *looks* like it's trying to be tied to defeat, since I can sometimes see my character stand with his  arms tied behind his back, but I still have full control and can draw weapons and the like without issue.

Second (and last) Edit: Fixed it, the culprit was either SBC or AA's Serana quest chain. Not sure which, though I suspect  it was SBC, for a couple reasons. Running one of the SBC cutscenes seems to be what fixed it though, so my money's there.

if anyone is having issues with this its more than likely AA. ive been dealing with this for 2 and a half weeks and by happenstance came across this post, tried it and it worked.

It's an old bug.

Player stuck in paired animation.

Go to a mill, trigger it (very long paired) and start another paired,

Or on activating hit very fast draw weapon.

With luck it works.

Kill player may work, too.

literally as in grain mill? (asking for a friend ;)

If so, interesting, albeit slightly strange solution, like the old "use a crafting station" solution for the more common partial loss of control where your view stays locked to one orientation

There is no "partial" but complete loss. It's a paired animation with complete loss until exit key.

Grain mill s just much longer what gives more surface to trigger interrupts.

Oh. you meant for the regular zoom/pan/player-orientation seizure glitch.

Yeah, you can handle that one with almost ANY crafting station.

You don't need to bother with chasing down a grain mill to solve that

I thought the OP said they lost the ability to interact, no lost the ability to turn and move properly
