covers, if i download another mod that has 40 replacers will they mix and match? or does load order prevail in these types on scenerios? its a shame to have to pick and choose.

If they replace the same book, then load order is what will win, if they replace different books then they will mix and match, the only way to in effect choose which is used from each mod would be do go through each mod deleting the one you do not want to work.

If mods all use loose files style or both have archive file style - the load order of mods will decide which files will be in game

If one mod use archive style but another mod use loose files - loose files will win in all cases of load order

Also vortex allow you to set different files a different source if both mods have loose files style, like choose 1, 2, 10 poster from first mod and choose 3,4,5...9,11,12... From second mod

That’s above my pay grade but good to know! Wow that was super informative. So how can I identify if a mod has loose files vs archive. Is that how and  what is an archive file? Lol. And no matter the answer do these files always go into the data folder? Both archive and loose?

Book? Never heard that term before? Is there a way I can look at the books or is that on some behind the scenes type stuff

*.ba2 in Data is archives

*.* in Data/* is loose files
