I was playing perfectly fine yesterday, now when I try to launch SKSE, it instead launches the default launcher from Bethesda. As I did not find any Papyrus.log files (only EditorPapyrus.log files, and they're too old to contain anything useful about this problem), I really dont think there are any for me. Have run BOSS, FNIS isn't the problem as far as I can tell, and have been trying my mods I just added earlier one at a time, and none of them correct the problem. Game loads fine without using SKSE except the errors saying SKSE is required that some of my mods spam once a save is loaded.
Rayblue Posted May 24, 2013 Posted May 24, 2013 Are you sure you got it installed correctly as instructed? Also it has to be the latest version of SKSE and must work with Skyrim Update 1.9.32, as downloaded from skse.silverlock.org.
Mephisto_VI Posted May 25, 2013 Author Posted May 25, 2013 Yep and yep. Downloaded a fresh copy of SKSE just to be sure, but it is weird. In the past, SKSE has loaded and I have gotten error messages when its not the correct version. No error messages this time. Not even the splash window pulls up. I get a brief flash of the command window that normally appears and disappears with SKSE but thats it. It has never done this before. Last time I asked them for support I never got a reply, but this time I hope will be different. It seems to be isolated to SKSE so maybe they're the only ones that can help me.
Mephisto_VI Posted May 25, 2013 Author Posted May 25, 2013 Ok, found one problem, but now I have encountered a new problem and this one will be the harder one to find and fix. Turns out Steam wasn't running and stopped starting with Windows like I had it set to. Now I get a CTD once reaching the main menu. Probably a mod missing a requirement. Will post back if I cannot find the cause.

Not sure why but somehow on my system steam sometimes refuse to load when windows is started, and tells me my identity is deleted, seem steam has a new built in device that whenever you play for longer time in offline mode will forcing you to log back in online then you go back to offline mode. i have seen allot of pissed of users on steam regarding this problem they them self created.

I read through the files I downloaded carefully and noticed one that had no requirements listed, yet viewing the mod with Wrye, it said dependencies were missing. I notified the author so they can list the requirements on the mod's page. Thanks all for the help.
