...however :) it does occur to me that I could perhaps make a VR compatibility patch that adds a new select spell just for VR users. It could use the ZAPHelper as masterfile so I don't have to update for VR in all other versions as well, you just use whatever version + the patch to get a working select spell. Inefficient, but effective.

If you're in a hurry for this I am more than happy to talk you through the process. Otherwise I may look into it when I have the time, I'm pretty busy right now.  

 

My man have you made a patch for this yet?

 

really love this mod and i want to use this in VR but i’m basically going through what the other guy was going thru - not being able to place the furniture properly or select furnitures to delete.

 

At the very least can you guide me through the process on how I can achieve this?

Deleted pieces of furniture leave a big red block, tried to use other spells, but to no avail, the only thing I can do is disable them with commands or reload the game.

EDIT: Some sort of bug with home sweet home, re-installing fixed it.

After trying to install the engine fixe, most of my mods got broken.

Managed to get them all working except for one. Zaz placer

 

The spell doesn't show up. And it's a mess for me to find back what Zap furniture mod I have to use for the AE version of the game.

I tried to get the package, but it's telling me this now... Any pointer?

i've downloaded the latest patch and for some reason whenever i go to the forge and put my mouse on the spellbook it crashes, tried it many times and it always crashes.im on AE skyrim if that helps

 

also tried older updates and for some reason I can’t spawn furnitures with the spells, it won’t show anything up

I removed the troubleshooting pack, it removes the craft and therefore the crash.

i cant make my slaves to use the bondage furnitures. I've spawned the furniture and whenever i try to restrain the npc it says "no please you dont do this to me" and they just stand there, i've tried using all the spells and yet i can't make them walk towards the furniture nor use them. can anyone help me q.q

 

edit 1: playing on AE but i dont think that's the problem

I have made a few changes to the ZAP_Helper_Addon_Extension_2.02b_FEMALE version:

 

- Expanded from 50 to 150 locked NPC slots

- Corrected a handfull of script errors, which prevented using all slots
- Changed spell names

- Lowered priority for the "Locking up" dialog topic

 

On an existing save game with the original ZAP Helper version, it is advisable to release all currently bound and locked NPCs, purge the ESP with ReSaver and install the expanded version. Although it might even work with just replacing the currently installed version.

Thanks, but i guess it's not compatible to PAHE and the existing PAHE compatibility patch will not be usable with your expanded version?

Sorry, unfortunately no. I don't use PAHE. But I had a quick look at the compatibility patch ESP- and script-wise. There are indeed several changes that would have to be made.

 

If someone would like to use my extended version to create a PAHE patch, please feel free.

Thank you for your version! If people are using DoM they don't need the PAHE patch anyways, it works out of the box with the zaz furniture (as long as they use orders from within DoM and not the spells to put npcs in furniture). 

FYI for anyone wondering, the troubleshooting pack is unnecessary (and broken since the spell references for the tomes are errors and will crash you if you try to craft them) since the spells are added to your inventory automatically.

To make the select furniture spell work in SE, you need to make the ZFPAliases quest added by this expansion "Start Game Enabled."  You could also adjust the script to start the quest, if it is not already started, but it is much cleaner to use the game engine's already built-in functions to do that.  I think the script was meant to start the quest by trying to set it to stage 10, but that doesn't work if the quest isn't already started.  Did that work in LE? Maybe that would account for people reporting it works there.

 

In any case, you can make the change in the CK or SSEEdit, whichever you are more comfortable with.  You can use the ZFPStartup quest record as a guide, since it has the same flag already.

 

After you do this, there is the known bug that quest dialog won't show until you do a first save and then reload after the mod is first loaded.  To avoid this, you can regenerate the SEQ file in the CK.  But it's easier just to save and reload if you don't know how to do that.
