Wicked Whims Bad Tuning file?

Recommended Posts

Posted

Hello,

I dont use discord so don't know where else to ask as patreon just says use the discord.

This error keeps getting reported with better exceptions mod (tmex) anytime I go into a household or build mode for lots. Any help would be appreciated because I know I can't just delete the tuning file. My game is all updated and WW is the most recent patreon version.

Recommended Action There is bad tuning in this mod: \TURBODRIVER_WickedWhims_Tuning.package
Delete it from your mods folder or see if the author has an updated version.
If it is a multi-package mod make sure you update all of them.

Do you have the whole file to look into?

As a Patreon you can just use Patreon or Discourse to ask for help as well if you don't wanna use Discord.

What would be the whole file? The LE it produced?

Yes, use the paperclip below or choose files to upload the file itself here.

Your LE says your error is most likely caused by a piece of broken object CC. Did you recently add a piece of build/buy CC? It also mentions Wicked Perversions, so I would make sure its up to date as well. I'm sure @Scorpio and @Husk will look and they're better at reading the LEs than I am.

I've attached my latest LE file - still saying the same thing as I've posted above.

First you need to update Nisa's Wicked Perversions as yours is quite old.

If you've done this already you might still have the old version installed too.

If you have M$ OneDrive on your computer it tries to put back mods you've deleted.

Un-sync it from The Sims folder or uninstall it.

Broken CC could be part of old Nisa's or something else.

Thank you for having a look ?

I will update that now. That's weird i thought I had the most recent version of Nisa's WP - I'll see if that helps.

I don't download alot of build/buy cc so I'll check through anything recent too. Could be cc used for animation to work or something.

Edit - this is what I'm downloading

Nisa's Wicked Perversions 2.2.4hb (30.07.2021)

Okay I downloaded new WW and newest Nisa WP (as posted above) - loaded up game and got this LE and thought I'd show you the BetterExceptions report too.

Maybe it is still some bad build/buy cc then? Or does Nisa need to be further updated?

I don't know how to read this LE report really. Thanks for any further help

You'll have to remove all your mods to desktop for now.

Only keep Wicked Whims + Animations and MCCC installed.

Delete your localthumbcache.pkg in your TS4 folder.

Test in game.

Still showing Nisa's error and problem with WW loading a bottom part.

Took everything out except MCCC, WW and animations - took out animation objects folder aswell. Got this LE ?

Perhaps it's a setting or something on either WW/MCCC conflicting?

Did you try loading a new save game?

MCCC also generates an html file with more info and it's in your Mods folder too.

Might be with MCCC folder if it has it's own.

You could also try removing the MC.cfg files to see if they are set wrong.

It will make new ones when loading again.

Last ditch is doing a game repair.

Ended up doing a game repair. Which didn't change a thing.

Deleted the household I thought the problem came from and that fixed it. No further issue with WW or Nisa WP.

Thanks for the advice and tips ?
