Only creature animations are being loaded?

Recommended Posts

I'm still quite new to modding Skyrim, have been modding FNV and FO4 so I know what to do generally but, I have no idea what I should do to fix this. It's like the title says, the game only loads creature animations in, I think I have properly installed all frameworks and animations, but for some reason FNIS isn't loading any other animations in expect for the ones related to creatures. Can confirm this because in game, the sexlab counter says there are zero animations loaded expect for the creature ones. Can someone tell me what is wrong?

Here is the FNIS thingy if it helps. Also apologize if I mess anything up as I'm still quite new.

I assume you have tried resseting the animation registry in sl. Also check that you sexlab animation loader installed. Those might be slal animation packs and needs to be registered via the loader. If that is not the problem the only thing I can think about is that somehow the animations might be suppressed in sl. In that case reset all suppressed animations in sl. It does look like fnis have gone through all the animations. So I don't think your problem is fnis. My guess would be the SLAL thing.

Are you saying that when you open SLAL's MCM once in-game, that you do not find the non creature animations listed?

If so, then based on your FNIS output, I would suggest that you possibly installed the humanoid animation packs *prior to installing SLAL. When I first started installing animation packs, I installed a half dozen or so prior to installing SLAL. All those animation packs installed prior to installing SLAL did not show up in it's submenus.

Why? idk. Guessing, because SLAL wasn't there to have whatever ini or other SLAL config file  populated with the necessary info from them.

Solution in my case was to uninstall the offending animation packs (completely, not just disable), then reinstall each.

But idk. I'd open the game and check the SLAL MCM first and make sure you're not just making unnecessary work for yourself, by accidentally misinterpreting the FNIS output.

ymmv. Good luck.
