Finding the best combination of adult mods

Hey everyone. So over the past week I have tried countless mods, both 18+ and others. However as for the 18+ ones I feel like many of them don't work to well together, making my game crash, body texture mixing up etc. So for the reason i'm making this topic is because I want you guys' thoughts and ideas of :

 

-what are some must have 18+mods?

-which mods work best together?

-what mods should you steer away from so your game won't crash?

-give me the mods you have the best experience with ( it would be really helpful if you include download link and installation guide if the mod require something specific to work properly.)

(keep in mind I like the body textures that are the most realistic ones, not the huge bimbo pornstar looks.)

 

All help and contribution to finding the best adult mods and combination of mods is greatly appreciated.

For more realistic bodies I recommend using CBBE with bodyslide++ (both easily found in search on the nexus), this gives a lot of customization which is basically required for more realistic bodies.

 

For sex mods that work well together, check the SexLab download page: http://www.loverslab.com/forum/51-downloads-sexlab-framework/

 

This mods all use the same framework and have relatively very few bugs and don't mess with each other much. SexLab is rather new so in the future there will be even more mods based on the framework.

Btw, is the CBBE mods compatible? can i mix different CBBE mods together and get a variety, or do i have to stick with one?

Adult Body mods are really something you should look at yourself and choose what you want and not go by anothers recommendation but I will say this UNP and CBBE are the two with the most clothing options available.

 

Actual sex mods I side with Liuli Sexlab is the way to go just make sure you follow the install instructions to the letter or you will have issues.

 

Mods to stay away from....I'd have to say Sexis it's author has been MIA for over two months now and the last update it got was done by another modder.

Funny that you mention SexiS, i installed it some days ago to try it, and my game has been extremely unstable ever since.

Yep I meant specifically CBBE when used with bodyslide++.

Yeah that looks like the one I don't think it's standalone so you need to use it with the Original CBBE mod.

 

P.s. with Sexlab I recommend using either sexchat if you just want to have sex or Sexlab Romance if you actually want a challenge and earn your sex.

Sexis ruled, but its been totally surpassed by Sexlab. I'm more of a UNP kinda guy than a CBBE one.

Looks very good, very realistic. Whats important to me including realism is variation. I hate when every woman looks the same. Take Lydia, I think she should look a little heavier built than forexample a farmer girl, if u understand what i mean?

 

So if I want realism AND variation, CBBE or UNP?

oh and let me add, which one of these works on males too? I need my male character to look good too... :P

 

Adult mods for males and females are generally kept separate.  There's pretty much one good adult mod for males -- Better Males.

I think there are mods that give each NPC a somewhat unique body type but I've never used them. Using CBBE or UNP all the females in the game will more or less look the same body wise.

 

for UNP/UNPB (the body mod I use) This is the best mod to use it has a LOT of Variety. UNP Replacer Configuration

 

I'm not sure if you use a mod Manager like NMM but if not I'd recommend getting it off Nexus.

It's hard to say. The standard models for both bodies have some decent variation, but at their heart, mostly they just increase tits and ass. You'll want UNP if a more natural look is important, but they both cover a similar range of variation (with CBBE being larger in general).

 

You might consider UNPB if you want more noticeable variation. The problem with UNPB is the breasts are visibly out of proportion with the rest of the body (to me, anyway), so it looks weird at higher weights. You'll have a fair fewer outfit options this way, though.

Ive been using Nexus as i felt it was safe, and after reading some online, very briefly, people cautioned me about using other programs. in ur experience what is the best mod installer program?

Do you use Racemenu or ECE? You might be able to fix that using them.

 

Edit I use the Nexus Mod manager it's really the only one I will use. There are others out there but I prefer NMM

 

Edit 2: I'd also like to point out that if you use UNPB you have to have armor that is converted to work with the UNPB body otherwise it will just look like you are using the standard unp body when you equip the armor.

Never tried them. Racemenu I skipped because at the moment i didnt use SKSE etc. From your experience what is best of Racemenu and ECE?

ECE will give you extra customization of your character but has some incompatibilities with some races, Racemenu is more straightforward.

 

I personally use ECE.

 

As for bodies I love UNP and UNPB but as a customization freak I think Bodyslide gives you better control on your look, there is an UNP bodyslide but it is nowhere close (yet) to CBBE bodyslide and it also lacks armor support.

I tried the UNP Replacer conf. mod. and I selected the option i liked the most. however, i dont seem to get much variety since I may only select one option when I install it. Is it some way I can get all the UNP option in-game? so there are shaved women, unshaved, dirty or clean, athletic or not??

 

Is there any console commands I can use ?

To the best of my knowledge, nothing like that exists for UNP. Everyone will basically have the texture you install. No console command will be able to do what you're asking, either, regardless of the body you use. Unless I'm mistaken and a body-by-race mod exists somewhere, you're probably going to have to deal with every woman having the same texture.

 

I don't know about CBBE, though. I don't use it so I don't keep up with it.

When you're choosing a look for your player there's one thing you have to keep in mind - NPCs will use the same skin texture and body mesh as your player character will. There are mods that will let you have custom body meshes and textures and/or change meshes and textures of the NPCs but they're finicky and prone to breakage. Or at least, that was my experience a while back when I was still pretty clueless about how they worked. In any case, they weren't plug and play for me.

 

Armor's the same. There are two types - vanilla replacers (replace the armor type for everyone in the game) and standalones - ones that you (usually) craft at the forge and are meant only for the player. Unique armor for the player is easy, most armors on nexus are just that.

 

Getting a lot of variety amongst the NPCs requires knowledge of the creation kit and Skyrim's file structure. If I were you I'd focus first on getting your player to look the way you want first by picking a texture and body mesh and getting them properly installed in Skyrim. That will get you started in skyrim modding. Then you can start looking into how you might want to change the NPCs. 

 

And my pref :) CB++ bodyslide. UNP is closest to reality if you like runway models; UNPB has breast animation and armor to match. Not much, though. CBBE is fantasy, but when you couple it with CB++ you can get pretty much exactly the look you want.

 

Oh, and Mod Manager > NMM!

I don't particularly care for my own PC as he is male, but i like to run around in towns and have quest npc/followers around with nice bodies :).

There some mods out there even that make you customer each npc, by race / weight or even randomization, but testing this i had some CTD issues i gave up on those.

 

I've been looking around for threads like this, so many mods, many are compatible with each other, but it can get complex to install.

For example, i like well shaped fairly large realistic breasts,

I like the shape breasts and armor support of CBBE but i want more of the UNP realism,

i like some jiggling going on (TBBP/chbsc/BBP), i also like some sweaty textures and some dirt/moles (texblend)

There are things to consider like animation (dragonfly), skeletons, what is texture, what is mesh, simply it gets confusing.

 

Anyway, how i have it configured now after lots of trial and error, maybe not the most effective way, but it works for me:

1) i start with installing chbsc

2) Choose a base body mod, CBBE, ADEC or UNP (i did CBBE)

 

Then body textures all optional for more realism

3) Tan/ADEC Carribian, didn't use this for CBBE

4) use body options texblend (apply dirt, moles, ...)

5) use a sweaty body like sporty sexy sweat (supports adec/Cbbe/UNP base)

 

Now animation:

6) Dragonfly (TBBP/walking animation/bouncy effects)

you can only overwrite the body if your base is CBBE (starts bouncing on idle)

If base is adec or UNP, don't overwrite the body

You can overwrite all animation files

Shouldn't overwrite the skeleton (not sure why but i think it screwed up sexis/sexlab positioning)

7) If your base is CBBE, install the XP32 skeleton

 

Now you have slightly bouncy boobs, bodies are sweaty, bit dirty, for a bit more realism on a CBBE body.

Fairly large breasts, some sweat, dirt, moles, with animation.

This also seems to be ok with most sexis/sexlab mods installed positioning wise.

 

Now you have the option to make breast super  jiggly and enormously huge:

8) Install the manga thing (it's on the site here somwhere)

optional for super wobbly breasts (it's like jelly), only works on CBBE for me

NOT FOR UNP (breasts overlap/skewed) OR ADEC (butt overlapping/ bad hips)

You can use 200% skeletons if you want the breasts to be more than enormous, like, they can't even reach the nipple.

Have no screenshot of this though, don't have it installed atm.

 

After that just install cbbe armors, the armors that support BBP as well, will make the breasts jiggle a bit while wearing armor.

If you want some variety in bodies, my followers (UFF - All in one) use a combination of ADEC and UNP.

The cool thing is that the jiggly part seems to work on them as well.

 

I use nexus installer, i still have a lot to learn but this works for me, i hope you guys found this useful.
