My wickedwhims is not working

Everything for my WW work expect my sex mod like every time I try to use it, it won't pop up on the menu and I got the new update and still doesn't work. Last time this happed was when first got it but it fixed by itself and now it hasn't been working since the May update. It feels like I've tried everything can someone pls help me pls and thank you.

Have u made sure the script file is NO MORE than ONE folder deep.

Yeah it's only one folder deep

When you first load your game into your played household do you see the purple WW notification in the upper right corner?

If Yes it means WW has loaded correctly.

 

Did you download some Animations too, WW doesn't have much to play with by itself?

 

Do you have any other mods installed?

If Yes try removing all but WW + Animations and retest.

 

Have you deleted your localthumbcache.pkg in your TS4 folder?

It should be done whenever you add, remove, or update, mods or game.

I also delete mine before I load the game in the morning.

 

If you can see Wicked > Settings Menu try this...

Ok so the drug notification is the only one that pops up when I start the game and I have animations with my WW also the only  localthumbcache.pkg I have is the newest one

Look in your TS4 folder for the GameVersion.txt and post the contents next.

Your Wicked Whims mod should be installed here:

Username/My Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 4/Mods/WickedWhimsMod

 

Only 2 files belong in here named TURBODRIVER***, one is a script and one is a package.

 

The usual reason for not loading is having 2 copies of Wicked Whims

 

If it doesn't load now I'm at a loss.

Ok so I must have a special case or something but question is if I have PregnancyMegaMod would that miss up the game

This is an old WW log file from when Wicked Whims was loading properly.

Since Wicked hasn't loaded properly since then it hasn't been updated.

So the notes below apply to an old game/WW version and I can't be sure if you still have them installed.

But they should be checked out anyway as they will still cause problems eventually.

 

Notice all the cc with the (1) added to the file names.

These are duplicates as they were downloaded twice in a row at the same time so the second download adds a (1).

You need to search through all your mods folders for all these files with the (1) and delete them.

Example:

NitroPanic_Jaccu Set Top (1).package,

NitroPanic_Jaccu Set Top.package,

NitroPanic_Kid Brian Turtleneck unisex (1).package,

NitroPanic_Kid Brian Turtleneck unisex.package

 

There are more like those above.

 

When you get done with those:

Open the log file and scroll down past all the mods/cc to find the 'Possible Duplicates' Entry

You will see this:

Possible Duplicated Mod Files (789)

It has a list of those dupes included which also need to be hunted down and deleted.

These are in addition to the cc mentioned above.

 

After the above is completed...

 

It's always best to remove all other mods and test with WW + Animations only

Delete the localthumbcache and start a new game save for testing.
