TheVinylMenace Posted July 28, 2021 Posted July 28, 2021 First let me start out by saying I've spent a fair amount of time on this before reaching out for help. I've posted in two other relevant forms and I just wanted to make my own post to be concise. I'm sorta new at using Loverslab but I'm familiar with using mod organizer 2. I'm running into this issue where I've installed the mod properly (or so I assume) and all that is happening is that Kalena appears almost completely invisible barring her lips and her genitals. I will attach some images below walking you through my issue, starting off with Kalena herself. As you can see, the only things loading in on her are the lips and genitals. When I first experienced this, I assumed it was a problem with meshes/textures and NIF files missing, etc. However, upon close inspection and comparison with an unpacked file containing the mod, all the files match one another and nothing is missing or out of place. I will of course include my load order via a png. Image. It's worth mentioning that upon installing this mod, mo2 doesn't automatically put the esp. into the plugins. I have to double click the mod from the left pane, and use the green arrows to move 'optional esps' over to the plugins. However, even when I get it over to the plugin side and double check the data directories/files, I still can't seem to fix the problem. I feared the worse and thought to myself, "maybe it's a larger conflict that wouldn't allow me to properly install certain types of mods (i.e. mods relying heavily on textures, meshes). So I wanted to test my theory by installing another follow from LoversLab and I went with 'Follower Awhi'. I installed that mod in an identical fashion to Kalena, downloading the file with 7 zip and then proceeding to install via mod organizers File tool. The mod instantly went into plugins once I activated it, unlike Kalena. Sure enough I went to the DrunkenHuntsmen and my new follower was there! It frustrated me that I was able to get Awhi to work by doing the same steps I used trying to get Kalena working It's also worth noting that this is being done on 100 percent clean save game that I grabbed off the nexus, so I don't think it's save related. At this point I'm just desperate to figure this out, it makes little to no sense why I'm running into a problem with a mod seemingly so simple to install. If anyone could give me some guidance on how to fix this issue, I'd greatly appreciate it!!
Bluegunk Posted July 28, 2021 Posted July 28, 2021 I've had loads of experience with Kalena and she works fine. Great mod! First up, have you sorted your right pane ESP load order with LOOT? That is the first job to do. Your left pane, above, is a mess. Once you sort your ESPs with LOOT, arrange your MO2 left pane to match the ESP order in the right pane. XPMSSE usually should go after all the other mods. Having it early and overwritten by Kalena will cause the invisibility issues. Also notice the CBPC and HDT stuff needs to have the correct order, too. This should be: CBBE (Caliente) (or UNP etc) Bodyslide & Outfit Sutideo HDT SMP, CBPC, 3BBB, XPMSE 3BBB LAST after any HDT / SMP mods. Texture packs will have to be distributed carefully in the left pane so you get the correct overwrites. PS - yes, sometimes MO2 will put the ESP into the right pane but for some reason does not activate it. Here's a recent load order from me so you can see the order that LOOT put my stuff in: https://modwat.ch/u/bluegunk You'll see XPMSSE at 841 on the list. PPS - sometimes LOOT makes weird decisions. Don't be afraid to make adjustments; just use LOOT as the main guide.
TheVinylMenace Posted July 28, 2021 Author Posted July 28, 2021 @Bluegunk Thanks a lot for a timely response, I am familiar with LOOT and have it sort my load order every time I install a new plugin. I when I sort my load order now however, it doesn't make the changes that you suggest. So I'm gonna attempt to move some stuff around, I'll get back to you on any results! Just wondering though, should I only focus on reorganizing the above mods you suggested? Should I put those 5-6 mods at the very bottom, having XMPSE at the very bottom? Thanks again for the help xD Edit: So turns out when I sort Via LOOT it says it's sorting it, but upon viewing the actual program (LOOT) I only see the base plugins for the game. I ended up reinstalling LOOT and running it for the first time through MO2 and it managed to pickup on my plugins, but still stated that no load order was changed. I tried moving the mods you spoke of lower on the load order priority with Kalena further up and XP32 as the very bottom, as well as matching the right and left pane as best as I could. Sorry If I'm being annoying, I just would love to get this working! I'm certain there is a solution to be found somehow. Re-Edit: Also a quick question, when you say 'distribute the texture packs carefully in the left pane so there are no overwrites', what exactly do you mean? My process of installing the Mod is as follows: 1. Download the zip file from loverslab 2. Left click File on Mo2 3. Hit Install Mod, Navigate to This Pc > Downloads 4. Open Kalena Rios - Sleeping Giant Inn 'No Quest' 7z File from This Pc > Downloads 5. When the quick install prompt appears on Mo2, I hit manual install. 6. I make sure the Data folder is 'valid' (normally by right clicking data and setting as directory, however in this case it is 'valid' already) 7. I hit Ok and hit the check mark in the left pane for Kalena Rios and move her up on the priority list. 8. Double Click Kalena Rios in the left pane and move the optional esp over to the right plugin pane. 9. Make sure both the left and right panes are matching up in priority order. And that's it! I launch SKSE and find her invisible with just lips and genitals every time. So this leads me back to my original question. When you say carefully distribute texture packs, I get confused as from the process I've listed above, I don't ever manually distribute anything other then moving mods on the priority list. The only other manual thing I've been doing is checking for the textures and meshes in the right pane of mod manager by clicking on Data from the dropdown menu. Then I navigate to the Data folder containing the 4 folders included in the mod (Fomod, meshes, scripts, textures). Upon comparing the contents of all of these folders, they appear to match what the actual zip file contained, and are in the correct order in relevance to to the zip. Now that you know my process of installation maybe we can figure out what I'm doing wrong/missing.
nehaberlan Posted July 28, 2021 Posted July 28, 2021 Hi, I can't help you about that. Nomkaz' Kalena SE version is not related to Kalena LE version. As I've known, Bluegunk is the best about Kalena at SE. Bye the way, I don't think that I can recover soon, and reply/response any kind questions. Take care... Nehaberlan...
TheVinylMenace Posted July 28, 2021 Author Posted July 28, 2021 Yeah man I read that you suffered from a seizure over on another thread, really sucks man. My sister has epilepsy so I'm all to familiar with how seizures go But yeah dude no worries! You take all the time you need to recover and get well, I'm sure between Bluegunk and the rest of the community we can come up with a solution!!

Bluegunk Posted July 29, 2021 Posted July 29, 2021 Sorry - just catching up with this. (Time Zones). Sorry you had a rough ride, Nehaberlan - do take it careful and good luck. TheVinylMenace - I get the impression you have your right MO2 pane sorted, and you have put the left pane in the same order. By placing texture packs I simply mean they have no ESP, so you need to be careful where you place them in the left MO2 pane. Some textures (Majestic Mountains) come with an ESP so they may get overwritten by another texture pack later in the left pane. It's just something top watch about. I'm a little puzzled over your install procedure. With LL mods I download them to disk, then manually install into MO2. Once I've installed using the usual procedure, the ESP is automatically placed in the right pane ready to go. I don't need to move ESPs from one pane to another. This makes me wonder if there is a disconnect in your installation that is activating the ESP but it is then unable to find the meshes and textures that should go with it. Are you able to post up a screenshot of your entire MO2? Here's mine (sorry it's a bit fuzzy): https://i.postimg.cc/s2ZCNBQ3/MO2-Layout.png I would be interested to see the "Content" column in the left pane.
TheVinylMenace Posted July 29, 2021 Author Posted July 29, 2021 No worries on the time zone thing lol. So at a glance by looking at your mo2, things are vastly different then mine. For one, I don't even have a 'content' pane, which leads me to believe I have an inferior or outdated of m02. I'll post a pic of my entire mo2, however be aware that I disabled some mods that weren't working correctly and thus re-ordered accordingly (Kelana is no longer activated). However either way I think you'll be able to see where my problem persists even without the mod activated. The picture may be very blurry but i'll attempt to upload it to a file site so you can zoom in and stuff. If it's as simple as getting a different version of mo2 to fix my issue, i'll happily do that Thanks again for the help!
TheVinylMenace Posted July 30, 2021 Author Posted July 30, 2021 Edit: I fixed it!!! Turn's out even know when I was manually installing and checked for validity, the fact that it told me it was valid led me to believe I was ok to just go right ahead and install. All I had to do was right click data and set it to the directory, feel so dumb lol... The esp moved right over by itself too xD. Thanks a ton for the help. PS - why does your mo2 look so much different then mine :0

PS - why does your mo2 look so much different then mine :0 Hey really pleased you got it sorted! Enjoy! ? My MO2 looks different because I use Style Sheets. I chose one that makes it easier on my eye - Paper Automata. They're on Nexus - just search under Mod Organizer. I also use a 21:9 screen so there's plenty of room for all the columns. I adjusted the Paper Automata font size up a bit, too, as my eyesight's rubbish. You can add columns to the left pane by selecting from a list; right-click in the column header space and you'll see the list. That's where you'll find the "Content" one. You can adjust the column widths to suite yourself, though I expect you know that. PS don't forget your BHUNP3BBB body needs to be before the XPMSSE in your right pane! Let me know how things work out. Happy to help any time.

Also a question, I downloaded a mod off the nexus called 'Simple Outfit Manager'. It seems easy enough to use, however upon trying it on my modded followers (Kalena and Serephina), they don't show any equipment for me to manage. This would be fine but the problem is that once I leave that menu, the outfit they come with comes off and they're forever nude!! So I was wondering if there's a way I can save the current outfit they have on, and then be able to swap and create new ones? Appreciate all the help you're offering, makes me feel very welcome here xD

Appreciate all the help you're offering, makes me feel very welcome here xD Kalena's outfit is pretty much baked on as part of her modded skin. I don't touch it but you might be able to remove it using the console commands. You might get invisible skin bits. Kalena did have an issue of some parts of her becoming invisible during sex but I believe the latest is cured of that. I have mine listed as V2, SE, but I can't track where I got it from. The link I have is to Nehaberlan's LE page but I can't see it there. If you have problems with your version I'll send you over mine. In Seraphina's case the SE port author provided a nude version in response to an ask from me, so use that in the download. You should be alright with her. I tend to use NFF for follower outfit management though some followers are best left out of the NFF system.
